I love how intune Keisuke is with Souta. He knows Souta is going through it at this moment. At the same time, Souta is really trying to convince himself, Keisuke, and everyone else who doubts him that he's feeling fine. He's really trying to cope by convincing himself he's over "it", so therefore he can't he hurt by "it".

Ladies and Gentlemen, this boy is not okay. Souta, you are not over it. You wish you were. You wish it was that easy. It’s not. It never was. Forcing yourself to down a million cream puffs is not going to stop you from feeling sad about Nao. In fact, all it’ll do is make you hate cream puffs for the rest of your life. And oh god Keisuke got his first static panel. It’s about to get too real y’all. He’s been an absolute saint with his patience and respect for Souta’s boundaries. But enough is ENOUGH. This getting more and more interesting. Nao misses Souta but is unable (in my opinion) to deal with it, and Souta is in denial. I think Nao might, maybe skip the concert and go to the soccer party; then they will be face-to-face and finally have to resolve their relationship.
