I absolutely adore seeing Nao being so supportive! It means so much, especially since their bond hasn't fully developed yet. Nao knew even then that Souta IS capable, he's just always been told he isn't. Also I love the panel of Nao turning around to look at Souta during the test!

As a student teacher,, any teacher who says that to a kid is bad at their job. You should never give up on a student. Meanwhile, Nao is such a good friend, just that one day of helping Souta study is going to change his life. This chapter makes me tear up.

Im coming back to reread the story and now im crying because I felt just like souta. I had to work 10 times harder to catch up with my peers. Ironicly the only thing i could do was math. It wasnt until college that I learned I had a reading disability.
