Souta is right though... I hope Nao feels comfortable with Souta to at least share that he's not doing well, he doesn't necessarily have to tell him about his mom. Carrying all that alone, especially since he doesn't seem to have a great relationship with his dad, will take a toll on him.

This argument is very refreshing. It shows the growth they've both made. Souta for allowing himself to express his care and concern for Nao. Treating him like a true friend. Nao for still fighting to keep his friend instead of completely withdrawing. They've made so much growth and a fight was necessary. You are trying your hardest, Nao. Just take that last little leap and let it out. It'll do you so good!

This is what I think might happen. They will have this fight, it will not be resolved successfully, Nao will go home and FINALLY open his gift that he forgot about, he will be so touched and moved by the stars and realizing that Souta truly listens and cares for him, he will be moved by the gift to finally open up to Souta about his moms passing. (and then ofc later at some point Nao will be like yea my moms gone and I don’t even have a pic to remember her *sob sob* and Souta will be all NOT SO FAST and whip out the papers and pictures he stashed behind the shelf and Nao will be sooo :0 that he will grab Souta and passionately kiss him lololol ssssssh I am manifesting things leave me be hahah)

i love how expressive souta's body language is, the arms thrown in the air, and counting the points on his fingers. so well done. the anger and frustration for both of them is palpable. it jumps out at the reader. brilliantly done!! 💕💕💕 naoooo please say something now 😭 souta is so worried 😭😭😭
