I am thoroughly enjoying this argument! It's the best argument they have ever had. It's hilarious and honest. Souta is doing incredible at expressing his thoughts! Nao is being forced to rely on his friend and his struggle is comedy! Not to mention Nao's facial expressions are so great. Also, it looks like Souta and Nao are even. They've both said something that was unnecessarily aggressive but very true. (Both Nao and Souta's sentences even had 7 words!) The parallels between this scene at the soccer camp argument are perfect! The complexities of this friendship are so beautiful, Aina. I love them.

I think it’s really interesting that Nao’s first reaction was to look more startled by the strength of Souta’s frustration than to look hurt by his words. I know he’s not at his most emotionally intelligent in this moment, for good reason, but I do hope some part of him registers that Souta wouldn’t be this incensed if he didn’t care about him.
