At this moment, I think Nao is going to try to say sorry, but be cutoff because the game is starting. Yuu is also a douche, and he's still bitter about Nao punching him years ago. My thinking is that Yuu is going to do something on the field, and Souta is going to see it. He's been training up his skill at being a play maker (might be getting that term wrong). I mean we spent a good amount of time with Big Ben talking about the importance of observing from the bench. So he might see that Yuu is planning to "accidentally" do something on the field. Maybe kick the ball just a bit high to hit Nao, getting back at him. Souta being the lovable, loyal guy he is takes the hit, gets injured. Then, Nao sees how much Souta cares about him. Only way I can think of, that forces Nao to accept aid and feel too guilty to vanish without saying anything.
