God the visuals showing how grounding Souta's touch is in that moment and how scared Nao looks when he loses that.. My poor heart 😭😭 Things are spiraling too fast but it's literally too late for Nao to back out of the game now.

Re-reading from the beginning again and this is hitting me hard. From the first few chapters we see how passionate Souta is about soccer and how badly he wants to win. Now regionals are here and all he can see and care about is Nao’s obvious pain and sadness 😭

Nao looks so much like his dad in those last panels (*thinks back to when his father tried talking to Nao after the phone call about Nao’s mother and couldn’t.) Aina, you are AMAZING at capturing expression! That panel of Nao after the one where he shouts Souta’s name is incredibly well done. There is so much fear in his face.
