Got me sweating bullets out here! I'm so nervous about what's to come. I think this is the first time we're really seeing the height difference between Nao and Inoue. I don't know why I love seeing it. "Since middle school?" 😭😭 No, Aina don't do this to us! This could be so many things. At the same time, bring it on. I'll grab snacks cause I gotta know. Just to confirm that it's my app (and my app only) acting silly is anyone else seeing unloaded images in the middle of the update? One after the panel of Nao rolling his eyes, another after he says "no" to the concussion question, and two more around the bottom? I just want to make sure I'm not missing anything.

ahhhh !!! this title could mean so many things. i do feel like inoue’s gonna confess to nao, and the title could be incorporated by her saying she’s liked him “since middle school”?? i also believe that this arc is nao’s past relationship, since the Q&A mentioned the next arc was the one where that would be explored? so it is possible that they could’ve dated or nao was (at the very least) aware of inoue’s feelings in some way, but I’m not entirely sure. super excited either way :)

My favs are obviously Nao and Souta, but I really do see a lot of similarities between Inoue and Souta as far as personality. They’re both kind, positive positive people who genuinely try to understand others. It makes me wonder if Inoue had been paired with Nao instead of Souta, would he rely on her and have opened up to her instead? Or is he going to open up BECAUSE it’s Souta? I’ve always seen Nao as Demi so it makes me wonder if it’s all circumstancial or if Souta really is the only one that can help!

The beautiful thing about this piece, in the middle of all the angst, is that if he had seen Souta when he turned around, his reaction might have been of relief, at least in the first moment. Like "ok, it's the one person that makes me feel more secure". Maybe after that he would have remembered the fight and the whole game situation and would have tried to run away in anger, but we can create a bright side in our heads and focus on it for a moment, right? hahahahaha (yeah, I really need some fluffy between them cause this whole situation is making me anxious 🤣🤣🤣)
