I'm so conflicted. I want Souta to hold on and wait for Nao's anger to pass as he goes through the stages of grief. But at the same time, Nao's violent outburst is cause to say screw it and leave him behind.

They say wounded animals are the most dangerous. Nao is so vulnerable at this moment, and Souta hit a nerve. One that needed to be hit. You're doing great Souta!! I hope Nao doesn't hurt him. That he's able to collect himself enough to step away. Souta is doing his absolute best and he's such a wonderful bean.

Anyone else notice the swirls and “static” around Nao, and anytime that happens to him it usually follows with Souta doing something to calm him down, making the static go away? Last time all Souta had to do was put a hand on Nao’s shoulder and it calmed him down, I think this time Nao is in way deeper, but I’m kindof hoping Souta just goes for a hug or at the very least puts his hands over Nao’s and says something kind, “Then help me understand” or maybe tells him that he saved the letters. I think it would have to be something big for Nao to snap out of this one

bro fr needs to get ahold of himself. like, I fully understand his situation. my mom got sick sophomore year of high school and passed away my freshman year of college. people will compare your parents death to their dog when it's not the same and they will tell you they understand you. it is annoying when people say they get it, but that's just them trying their best to make you feel better. most high schoolers will not know how to comfort and be there for you, but they're in high school. I think nao needs to give the people around him a bit of grace. but I understand that he's going through a really rough time right now.

While Nao is being a prickly peter, Souta shouldn't have tried to get physically close to him when Nao explicitly told him not to. HIs voice was still reaching him anyway. But I'm not trying to criticize or hate on Souta because he's just a teenager.
