I just love the sincere concern that Souta expresses here. Noticing that not only does Nao not want to be alone, but that it's best that he isn't alone. What Nao needed (and still needs) at that time is a friend, someone to be there. And Souta was content to be just that for him. He was ready to leave his comfort zone to help.
