Seeing Nao being able to enjoy the stars he had wanted as a child makes me want to cry out of happiness. He’s slowly healing his inner child! Not only is he confronting the death of his mother and the pain that goes with their separation, but he is also living those moments of childish joy that he lost. And don’t get me started on Souta. Souta is so generous and understanding in the way he sees into Nao’s heart. His spontaneity and lightheartedness is truly a gift.

Also, let me just rant about something quick (it's positive, I promise) I call a a lot of things 'amazing', I say 'one of the best' and 'one of the most ____' a lot when I want to really emphasize something, because I know the kind of media that I tend to like, and mostly stay away from what I know I won't. As such, I find a lot of stuff that really impresses me, and deserves that level of praise. In spite of that, I don't use the *superlative* lightly. When I say 'the most', I *mean* it. When I say 'the best', I *mean* it. And when I say that Nao's love of glow-in-the-dark stars is *the most endearing character trait I have ever seen*, I mean it. (Also, for the record, this is still *the best* comic I've ever read :)

I love soutas growth here. I know were all desperate to see them interact but I think it's super healthy and indicative of a good relationship that souta is recognizing that nao has repeatedly said he is too nosy, so he is respecting that boundary by giving space.

I know we’re all waiting for them to reunite, and on our end we can see that Souta is special to Nao, but I LOVE how receptive Souta is to Nao’s feelings and how respectful he’s trying to be towards him. On Souta’s end (because he can’t see things from our POV) all he knows is that Naos told him repeatedly that he’s nosy, and has for the most part been pushed away multiple times when trying to get close to Nao. WE know there’s been a shift in how Nao views Souta, but Souta doesn’t know that yet and it makes me love him even more that he is so careful and thoughtful of Nao, and is trying to be what he thinks Nao needs
