Lol I busted out laughing at seeing Valentin run into the room. Just crazy. I’m confused. Didn’t Mickey run a way from the palace to escape the pressure? I thought he would be the first to pack his bags when the king dismissed him but he seemed…upset? And what is his relationship with Akira? Akira makes it seem like he did Mickey a favor by bringing him back but again….didn’t Mickey literally run away? Why does Akira talk to him like that? It’s honestly jarring. I’m on Ki’s side. He was the only one making sense. He said not to do the party, they didn’t listen. He told them not to split up, they didn’t listen. Like say what you will about Ki but he’s the only mature one in this group. I can’t believe Konos got played like that. Like damn, he got take that L. What is Penelope doing? Wow wow wow! Loved this episode! -Everyone is so shaken up, it’s understandable that emotions are high rn. Those two got away too easily and I knew Kronos was being set up! Maybe now he’ll be on high alert and cautious. Kino shouldn’t be too hard on himself, he couldn’t control any of that. Ngl, I feel for Mickey. I don’t like the way Akira or anyone else in the family speaks to him like the ugly stepchild. Luna is so…intriguing. Akira using her as a lie was crazy though lmao. I feel a forced proximity going on. Then again, I don’t think she’d be interested in his scheme if he proposed it to her just bc she’s heard him declare himself as basically a heartless whore. Poor sato is the only one genuinely concerned about his best friend, I know Aaron will be fine though. I’m glad the conversation with pen was short, we don’t need any unnecessary drama. The city being on lockdown would have me PISSED as a visitor. What about Jaz, Pen, and Devin going back to work or their regular lives? I also sense some unrequited feelings with Pen and Sato BUT I think they’ll both keep it respectful. Also very glad everyone could keep their jobs. Something about him always feels so untouchable and this episode made him feel a lot more human. Seeing him grab at whatever he could to keep them was so 💜 but he definitely needs to take some accountability cuz he puts them in shitty situations lmao Also Manny and Arron. Uhm, are we just going to glaze over that there was a terrorist attack? Why is Akira focusing on the travel ban when there are terrorists who have shown they can and will harm civilians? Yes, there needs to be a travel ban, so we can limit damages and causality. I'm sorry I love Akira, but none of his decisions have shown that he's ready to be a king of a whole nation. He's impulsive amd seems more worried about antagonizing and rebelling against his father than being the future leader and protector of Aegis. Like the travel ban is annoying but there are attackers of the crown on the loose with no identity and an unknown number. We're in crisis mode here.

I swear like every time a new episode drops it feels like I'm watching an anime. I can see the anime inspired moments in here especially during the middle part we got that interlude of Luna looking stunning. Oh yeah, that was perfect. Put like a song that is just for her specifically and the anime inspired feel of it all will be complete. The beginning of the episode really let's you in on how dire the situation is and the cinematic feel of it. Oh my God! Kure you have truly outdone yourself again because this is just too good. Everything feels like a movie. it's so well made and the quality is so rich and crisp I can't even say how good this feels to watch it's just perfect!!! Frothing at the moth salivating and rolling around on my bed like a dog cuz the emotions this got me going through. Crazy The kings reaction to the attack seems so not exactly manufactured but it's way too proper. It feels as though he's going through the motions not truly caring or understanding that his son could have died. Like he is so concerned about his standing as the king even though he is at the height of power that he cannot see how he is messed up in his relationship with Akira and also how emotionally distant he is because of how he runs things. He's the perfect example of a man who rules with an iron fist and then is shocked when the consequences of leading like that catch up with him. It's genuinely infuriating to watch but he is right in this situation specifically. Even if his delivery is harsh. And creul. Also the fact that the girl that was so down bad for Arron is the captain of the guard!!! Oh Arron bb! You struck gold!!!! Iza better Fight for that ass cuz ohhh your telling me Manuela is not only already the kind to be very upfront and direct about what she wants (which is exactly what Arron has always wanted) but she is in a very high position of power and can protect him very well because of that position?!!! Oh Iza. Pack your bags because I'm Soo here for your inevitable crash out!!!! Just the introduction of a rival for Iza who is basically everything Arron said and showing us that he has wanted, everything Iza couldn't do for him when they were together 😂 oh this shit got me kekeingg. I'm so beyond ecstatic for this. like rocking back and forth to contain my excitement type shit. I'm so ready for the mess Arron is going to go through. More than what he's going through already obviously with him being in the hospital. About that actually KURE YOU BETTER MAKE SURE MY BABY IS PAMPERED AND LOVED ON AFTER THIS!!! Girl you being messy AF for no reason. Literally now that I look back on it pen does live for the drama. Let me rephrase that. I feel like for her stability in a romantic relationship isn't really what she really wants on the inside. I feel like she low-key craves the chaos and the heightened emotions that Lars and her had back in the day and even though she is with Devin now in a healthy relationship a small part of her still wants that high she would get from Lars and hers messy relationship. And I think she knows that too which is why she wants to leave so fast because she knows that it's only a matter of time before her impulses get the better of her. All to say pen is being reeaall messy and I'm high-key scared AF for what could happen. Now on to the main course LUNA BABBY!!! The tension between her and Akira is so good I love their relationship and I love whatever's going to happen with them because it's just so interesting. I'm absolutely loving the fact that Akira is Luna's Muse. And as someone who is a sucker for a artist and her Muse trope this is like gold for me. Not only is Akira an total bottom but Luna is the top to put him into shape. And in this episode you can already see bits of that where she doesn't really care what his position is she's going to do what she wants and be very upfront with him. She isn't for the mind games and I'm so here for it cuz she's confident in her dominance and oh Luna girl I love you!!! And the way Akira is fully aware he is the problem and he still continues to be irresponsible and immature and frankly spoiled in his action is just... SIIGHHH!!! HES ACTUALLY SUCH A BRAT PLEASE GET MY STRAP I'M SO SIICKKKK!!! Everyone has every right to be mad at him because oh my God is he insufferable. He is ordering them around just like how his father orders him around and there's definitely some generational trauma happening here. Akira and Mickey's... What ever that was (it wasn't even a conversation) is actually so heart breaking because how messed up does their family have to be for Akira to think that men he has met only a few years ago are his brothers but his own biological brother isn't someone he seems to really care about. Or maybe he does care about him but he has a very messed up way of showing that and given how Mickey clearly doesn't really like him all too much their relationship seems very strange. It's like there's always this budding tension between them where there's so much going on in their lives that separates them even though deep down they both probably really want to be siblings and care for each other. It's actually painful now that I write it out because I'm a sucker for sibling bonds and this is hurting my heart. And the way Phoenix is the only one to check up on Mickey after this... Count your days Kure count your dayyyyss. And that old ass man. That OLD ASS MAANNNN!!! GET AWAY FROM PHOENIX!!! I SAID GET! AUGHH! I hate old ass men with younger partners period. And the way this is Phoenix's First relationship tooo. Like ewwwwww. Please pick Mickey QUICKLY and awaken the dom in you because we both know Mickey awakens something in you. I see it on your eyes! The cinematography in this episode was literally amazing! It felt like more than an episode, like I was actually watching a film and you really elevated the experience. Is it toxic that I understand and would have done the same thing Pen did🤗🙂‍↕️ I would have texted Sato too to make sure he was okay🙃 But I do understand that she did it, probably, with a hidden motive annddd I think as we get to learn more about Devin, we might see why.
