Quite new to horror movies and have watched kill counts to ease myself into the genre. Watched this when it first came out and thought it was alright but very badly paced.

Love that you all talk about things like the BTS nastiness that a lot of people may not know about, like with Mia Goth on Maxxxine and Fede Álvarez on Don't Breathe. Just because there's not enough evidence to point fingers doesn't mean it shouldn't be rationally discussed.

I wonder if James would be as "skeptical" about the lawsuit against Goth if the genders were reversed. I noticed in the new Nosferatu kill count that he didn't even mention that the lead actress was Johnny Depp's daughter, yet in other kill counts such as Smile he made a point of mentioning that she was Kevin Bacon's daughter. Even though the case against Depp was nothing but bullshit, that was proven to be bullshit and lies all the way through, and he won his suit against Amber Herd. Yet James, clearly being the woke feminist he is, always seems to believe women that make certain claims. He would never expect a woman to prove her claims of abuse or have "corroboration". Let's just imagine if this had been some famous actor guy, and a "nobody" woman had come out with this claim, don't even try to tell me that you would have the same feelings towards it. This kinda bothers me. In fact this is what bothers me with every single woke leftist, hypocrisy and double standards. Especially because I have read and watched so many documentaries and stories about horrific abuse that men have had to endure by their partners or other women in their lives, and how fucking awful it is for them simply because they're men. Men aren't believed, men are told to suck it up, men are called pussies and weak etc etc, and that makes me sad. It shouldn't be that way, and I thought that these movements we've had these last few decades were meant to encourage and support ALL victims of abuse or assault, no matter what genitals they have. Not to mention that Goth is a fucking millionaire, while this man whoever he is, is as he said a "nobody" so it would be very easy for Goth to drum up, with her connections, some fake "shady past" about him to prove him a liar, I mean Goth hasn't released one statement about this case anywhere, to me that says something. And why should it be that surprising that a Hollywood celebrity would be abusive towards the "common folk"? We have PLENTY of awful diva's in Hollywood that do whatever the hell they want, to whomever they want, because they can easily get away with it. I mean Goth's husband is Shia ffs, a dude that has plenty of times been abusive to many! My point is, everyone should get the same level of support and respect, regardless of gender, when they claim abuse. I really try not to notice any mention of political views and shit like that from James and the Dead Meat team, as I am not even close to being on their end of the political spectrum and I just want to enjoy my favorite channel without any of the ugly political stuff we see everyday on social media, we have enough evil and hatred in the world, but I've wondered this every time I rewatch this kill count and just wanted to say it. But I have nothing but care and respect towards James and his team, and I do think that they are genuinely good people and nothing like any Hollywood nightmare. Which is why I adore this channel.

I was wondering that myself. At first I thought, well maybe he couldn't show it because despite being uncensored he is still not allowed to show any nudity, which has always been fucking baffling to me like we're all 6 year olds! but then I remembered that he absolutely showed the "genitals" of the guy in the Terrifier 3 kill count, so yeah I have no idea why he censored it.
