Squishy

Been waiting for this !!

jondo1214

Hey guys, do you have any plans on a podcast episode about Together? I think it’s got some interesting things to talk about

SV1

How did I miss the promo leading up to this?! I just about screamed and ran back into my house !!!!

John Humphrey

My opinion on this flick may be a tad controversial, but when I saw it the 1st time, the vampires kinda came out of nowhere. I knew it wqs a vampire movie going in, but it was such a slow build that by the time the vanps showed up, they weren't needed. Movie wasn't bad, but it would've been better as an action/ drama movie than it turned out as a vampire flick

Bryan

20 dollars around tat time is worth almost 472 bucks in today’s world n 40 dollars is worth 945 bucks in today world

hairyson94

I'm 95% sure they covered it in a recent pod where they talked about multiple films in a more rapid fire format

Mark G

I thought Sinners was fun, but by no means lives up to other horror flicks this year like Weapons or Bring Her Back. The action, music and cinematography were great. Maybe I just find MBJ's acting super corny...

TreG

Weapons? Bring her back ? lol this was definitely a down year for horror if those two are what you would compare

That1Deogen

Super good film and I love seeing some of the behind the scenes

Meghan Beaman

“Which is something I don’t know how to do” oh I like her 😂

In House

I think Smoke got past the crowd at the end thanks to Sammie having attacked Remmick with the guitar - while Remmick (through centuries of existence) can recover quickly the pain distracted the crowd of freshly turned long enough to get the jump on our big bad

Virgo

THIS IS WHY I SIGNED UP FOR PATREON! YES!!!

Eric Dove

Ben’s opinion is entirely correct. It’s a shame the kill count can’t really play the music for this one

Jimmie Maghes

This is my favorite film of the year. Bar none. It’s so fucking good. I have no complaints about this film. I’m glad I saw this in theaters. It was definitely an experience. I’m just sad I didn’t have an imax near me so I could see it in imax.

jondo1214

Oh sick thanks, I’ll have to look for it

John Humphrey

Watched it with my best friend. We both came to the same conclusion. For me, I think what really brings it down is the fact that I went into expecting a vampire movie, yet the vampire portion is my least favorite part of the movie. Well made, other than that, but definitely overhyped

Reid May

Dare I say this is my favorite outfit James has worn for a Kill Count? Straight up lookin DAPPER!

PsychoPatrick

Great killcount for a great movie! Well done!

Mara Copland

I’ll be amazed if anything knocks Sinners off my top spot for the year. I’m so fucking excited to watch this. Let’s go. Also, can we shout out how fantastic James’ costumes have been this year? Goddamn.

Dr. Katz

Saw this movie with in theaters my dad (who isn’t a huge horror fan) and he said it’s one of the best movies he’s ever seen. The montage of the history of black art is one of the most moving scenes either of us have seen.

Mileskimask

i wish i could watch this movie for the first time again!!!

Ben Jeffers

James looks like how I dressed my character in the PS2 era The Godfather game

Unseen Branches

I can’t wait to get the soundtrack on vinyl. This is one album that would sound even better a little scratchy.

Unseen Branches

The first half of Weapons had me on the edge of my seat. The second half nearly bored me to sleep.

Spence

THAT’S THE SINGER OF JULY TALK?! No way!!

Mira

My husband and I JUST finished watching this movie for the first time, and I SOBBED. It was so damn good!

Adam Armstrong

That’s my favorite game of all time. I can’t believe i found someone else who’s played it

D4Y D4Y

In my opinion movie of the fucking year no questions asked

Chaotic Artist

I absolutely love the ‘to the numbers’ bit because you can see James trying so hard not to laugh and the chemistry between them😂😂✨

Logan DeMilia

African American history is such a tragic story but it just shows perseverance and soul, plus I would’ve rather seen James in the remmick outfit rather than Michael b Jordan’s outfit

Roy Pinson

I know the kill count was already going to run long, but as a person of indigenous descent, I was a little disappointed we didn't get a moment for the Choctaw vampire hunters. I know they weren't on screen long and there were no kills related to them, but they really caught my attention when I watched the movie. I'd absolutely love to see Coogler and/or someone he trusts make a movie about them on a hunt.

BUGMECH14

I live in the city this movie takes place in. Ryan Coogler had a free screening here for 3 days because we don’t have movie theater

Matthew Boettcher

Not to nitpick, but there is no critical consensus that story of Saint Patrick driving snakes out of Ireland had to do with pagans. Though this is a theory, it is not broadly accepted by scholars and I wish it would stop getting shared as though there is agreed upon.

Sam Konkel

So, where’s your early release of Killer of Killers?

chelsea

i ate it

BK

First time im actually going to wait to watch a kill count need to see this movie.

Michael Vieider

This Like comes from the bottom of my heart. What a movie...

Stormgg36

really love Zorans 'to the numbers' part, really moved me with his acting performance

Latrina Autry

I absolutely love Dead Meat,& the other shows it has, I am Forever Fan!!!💯💯💯❤️❤️❤️

TheOnionQueen

When I first watched the movie, I thought “Huh, those twins look like Michael B Jordan…but there’s no way that’s him, that’s clearly two different guys.”

Kat Lennon

So fun fact. I accidentally went into Sinners on our way to see a different movie. Sat down and watched when he was killing the KKK. Was so confused but I was totally into it. Thought it was the longest commercial for a movie ever 😂
