Kathy Bates mother was so narcissistic and abusive to her its so sad. Kathy is such an amazing woman and actress! Her mother told her she didn't see what the fuss was about its not like she cured cancer (or something like that, I dont rememberthe exact quote). Kathy thought she was mad at her for not thanking her during her acceptance speech. Decades later while discussing this during an interview they showed her the acceptance speech, she had indeed thanked her mother and father. She thanked the interviewer for that... you could tell a huge weight had been lifted from her shoulders!

Some Kill Counts are less about racking up big numbers and more taking a look at really good horror.

Imagine being told you are not attractive enough to play big roles, just to play one role and your first main cast and win a reward , QUEEN

Please do dog soldiers

Chaos608

I caught that Futurama reference with the stabbing, excellent work 😂

I love how in The Shining, Kubrick switched Jack's weapon from the blunt, club-like object from the novel (a roque mallet) to an axe, while in Misery, Reiner gave Annie a club to break Paul's ankles rather than following the novel and cutting off his foot with an axe. I think both changes were absolutely right for their respective film adaptations.

I finally saw Misery for the first time last year (can’t believe it took me this long). It quickly became one of my favorites! Kathy Bates ATE DOWN! So excited to see you covering it

"God I love you!" Anne "Can you not please!!!!" Screamed by James in response was so perfect! 😂

fawn.desilva

Me too! I was so sad for her. But also so happy that she seemed to gain some closure from seeing it.

Kars

hey james if you ever continue the recount series, a revisit to a nightmare on elm street would be greatly appreciated!!

Phillip Solano

I actually performed in a stage adaptation of Misery. It's much better than you think it would be. Got to play the Sheriff. Still one of my favorite roles to date.
