Wow damn, I did NOT expect so many people to join the Patreon family yesterday. We now have over 500 people pledging and my mind is blown by this level of support.

I know a lot of you might only be here for the one month - and that's okay if that's all you can do! - because you want to vote in the upcoming poll about the next big series I cover. That poll, like I said in the video, will be posted in the first week of December after Patreon finished processing all the pledges (just to weed out anyone attempting to sign up with a fraudulent card or whatever).

IN THE MEANTIME, I'd like to get a list of movie franchises to put on that poll. Last time i had a poll for smaller series, I forgot The Evil Dead, which in my opinion may have won over Alien had I remembered to include it.

I don't want to miss another iconic franchise when I make this new poll, so help me out - I'm looking for series with 5 or more movies in them. I'm gonna list the ones I already have in mind below, and if you think of any that aren't on it, please leave a reply and let me know. Thanks!

Children of the Corn (9 movies)

Final Destination (5 movies)

Halloween (10 movies)

Hellraiser (10 movies)

The Howling (8 movies - what?!)

Leprechaun (7 movies)

Night of the Living Dead (remaining sequels in original series - 5 movies)

Nightmare on Elm Street (8 movies)

The Omen (5 movies)

Phantasm (5 movies)

Prom Night (5 movies)

Psycho (6 movies)

Puppetmaster (12 movies)

Resident Evil (6 movies)

Return of the Living Dead (5 movies)

Saw (8 movies)

Sleepaway Camp (5 movies)

Texas Chainsaw Massacre (7 movies)

Wrong Turn (6 movies)

Great to see that so many people have joined to support you! Great list! The only one I see missing is the Wrong Turn series. 1 & 2 are cool but I would love to see you rip on all the others. lol. Again congrats and have fun

Thomas cush

these are amazing i have a feeling halloween or saw will win because of how popular they are

Thomas cush

Well how often I see the requests

Tyler

Paranormal Activity has six films, that’s another one to add! :D

Mikey K

I personally would like to see saw but on the poll last time it came nowhere near alien lol

Saku

I know it won't but god damn will I be happy if Leprechaun wins the poll

SnazzyAdam

I would just about die to see you do the Final Destination movies.

Dead Meat

Great call, those get requested a lot - added to the list!

Dead Meat

I feel like those don't have enough deaths for a Kill Count... I'm gonna have to figure out another series for supernatural stuff like that

Dead Meat

Looks like there are only 3 of those so I'll save em for a short series poll

Justin Gunderman

I know you're looking for series with 5 or more, but I would really like to see you do the "Boogeyman" series (3 movies).

TotallyNotEdgy

One of these days, I'd like to see you do Burnt Offernings. Old movie, but still really creepy and cool.

Branden Barker

I think you have all the large series listed. Man I hope people vote Nightmare or Halloween over FD and Saw first. But according to the comments, it's not looking good for us old-school purists. My comment keeps disappearing. Sorry if this posts 100 times

The Antagonist

The hills have eyes hits the five film mark if you include the remake/terrible sequel.

A.j. X Perez

Hellraiser is tied with Nightmare on Elm Street for me. Hellraiser may take the win for me simply because I think you’d be surprised how far the series gets with good movies, despite the hiccup of 3, before it inevitably gets really fucking bad. That being said.. it gets really fucking bad. But. I’m still pulling for it.

Richard Lucero

I would love to see you do the halloween series but it might be too early for that. But one franchise that is not on the list is the Paranormal activity movies. Maybe you should start with the wrong turn franchise, but its whatever you feel you should do. Anything is fine.

Branden Barker

Of all the the upcoming possibilities, I'm most interested in your take on A Nightmare on Elm Street 2. Love it or hate it, it's a special kind of movie.

Ethan Evans

I’m so excited for the future of your channel! Happy to be a part of the Patreon family. I just recently started watching your channel but I instantly fell in love. Im excited for the Nightmare on Elm Street and Resident Evil kill counts! 😍

JunkieCS

I want nightmare on elm street tbh

Parker Rognrud

I say Evil Dead, for sure, but also the Nightmare series.

Marcus K.

I have a feeling the Nightmare on elm street or Halloween will win. Evil dead should win, but I think not enough people will vote for it when those other two juggernauts are in the ring.

Raily Newsom

You could always do Evil Dead as like a bonus gift Kill Count mini-series for Christmas :D Just an idea.

SnazzyAdam

Oh, I'd love to see Halloween too- I'm a huge Jamie Lee Curtis fan. But Final Destination is my underdog because those Kill Counts would be so interesting and hilarious.

movie madman

I suggest the exorcist franchise, theres the original, the heretic, exorcist 3, exorcist the beginning, and dominion. the tremors franchise with 5 films. silent night deadly night with 6 films, the 5 originals and the remake titled simply silent night. the sharknado films theres 5 of them. scary movie franchise 5 films there. the universal monsters, now what I would do here is to count only the originals and the remakes, not the sequels not the sequels to the remakes, none of that. not to mention the countless amount of Stephen king adaptions, that would be tricky but I have a solution to that, just the ones that people like/ the ones that have positive scores on rotten tomatoes. soooo.... heres a list of 10 films by Stephen king that I picked out. Christine, 1408, the green mile, IT 2017, thatll be out by the time right, pretty sure, the shining (1980), carrie, all 3 of them, Shawshank, misery, and 1922. so that's all I got, hope you have fun with your torture.

Brooks Hyde

I agree. I have seen a coupke of kills from these movies and they are shockingly brutal.

Brooks Hyde

Sleepaway Camp. I feel like the kills are pretty brutal or Nightmare. Everyone knows those kills are cool and unique.

Tom Warwick

I'm new around here $10 a month, baby! I'd love hellraiser as it's my favourite movie atm. But one day i would love to see you do the lost boys!

Pjack99

Predator? And maybe alien vs predator?

David Laughman

Don’t worry I’m gone before the charge hits my bank account

Nikki Schoen

Pledging my support to Final Destination! Shit movies, but some really inventive kills! So many contenders for unique/fucking hilarious golden chainsaws

Colin Perkins

You have missed a few. Someone else said Sharknado, and yes, sooner or later you need to do them. There are the Predator films, if you count the Alien Vs Predator films there are 5 of them. And I REALLY want to see you at one point do the Underworld films. They are action/horror films, but the only things people see them for our the kills and boy do they have a lot of epic kills in them.

Colin Perkins

Also, I'm not just here to vote on who you should do next. To be honest man, I'm here cause you are just really good at what you do. You make a darn good show. It's fun, chipper and a great time for all. Also, you pointing out to the comment section to treat each other with respect, giving a call out to queer characters in horror(like in the It video) and paying respect to the horror legends that should have it, IE. you're just really nice! You bump into so many blasted jerks in life that it can be draining so it's nice to actually know someone's nice for once!

Dead Meat

Hey David, just so you know the poll for the next big series will take place after the charges go through - sorry if that wasn't clear in my video!

Scott Quinn

I️ think final destination would be a really fun kill count video to watch, so many memorable kills. I️ subscriber a couple months ago. I️ think this channel is amazing, I️t is my favorite on YouTube rn. I️ found I️t because I was looking up reviews for I️t and I️ found yours and I️ thought kill count was one of the coolest concepts I’ve ever seen. Also I️ would love to here your rankings of the nightmare on elm street series. Freddy is my favorite antagonist in movie history and I think those movies are so iconic. You have my full support for a very long time. You have a really good thing going and I️ hope you grow even more. Best of luck.

Colin Perkins

Oh, I can't believe I forgot them! The Death Race series! There is like 5 of them at this point and most of them are pretty darn good with a lot of epic kills and gore.

Enrique Gutierrez Jr.

You missed predator and Alien v. Predator ,but thats only if you'd like

Sasha Henriksen

Final Destination would be fun, also the puppetmaster films since i think they deserve some recognition!

Bailey Severt

Halloween would be great especially around the rob zombie ones because they are bad and you'd have a lot to work with there, and because the kills are great

Julia Faith

My vote's for Final Destination!

James Bruce

I think I was no.500. Happy to up my donation to $3 in the new year. Never used Patreon before so wanted to start small first. Im happy with any series as long as its 3+ films. I like the journey, the ups and downs as series go on.

Makayla Simpson

Final destination for sure! Been following you since DD and im so glad to finally be supporting you!

Brian Stenstrom

I think Final Destination is the way to go! You'd think after that many wrong turns you'd end up at the right place. I always appreciate the good research and tidbits you add.

Chase acker

I think Hellrasier would be a good one. Plenty of kills, tons of gore, and a strange plot. Not to mention there’s ten of them. (Where did they get their funding??)

Paul Jones

My vote is for Predator since we just finished alien, I know it's not a 5 movie series but if you start with the avp's then it's a natural progression. If that's not the direction we want to then my next vote would be for hellraiser. also Jaws isn't on the list, and JP will qualify next year lol.

Brandon Espana

Sleepaway Camp would be a fun one to do!

HendrixHideout

Wrong Turn sounds awesome, no matter what gets chosen i will still support you!

Aiden Boyer

Saw is my number one,and then maybe the first Psycho(The one by Hitchcock)

Christopher Morgan

It's not 5+, but Cabin Fever is a pretty messed up series with plenty of kills.

Casey Scott

I think Tremors just hit 5 movies this year, not sure of the death count in there though. Also nightmare would be awesome but I also feel that would be good to do on the anniversary of dead meats creation

Daniel Wetterling

Do Phantasm, do it for Angus may he rest in peace

michael Tarrant

Wrong turn would be amazing as they get worse and worse everytime :D

Shanky Dank

Texas Chainsaw Massacre or Children of the Corn or Halloween; that would be awesome!!!!! <3

Devlyn Naqvi

Please do the Texas Chainsaw massacre series.

Maty2391

Silent night, deadly night

Pierce Schulteis

Right now final destination would make sense. I would leave halloween till the beginning of september

Ally Green

...if I actually plead for Hellraiser, will that help my case? Because please, please, please do Hellraiser--the first two are infuckingcredible, and I've been hooked (pardon the pun) ever since. #ForeverACenobitch

Denver Rock

I would love to see Nightmare on Elm Street on the Kill Count

Orange

The Resident Evil movies are so much fun! I'd highly recommend them, especially for crazy death scenes >:D
