JunkHead3000

Wonder of U the force of calamity in the form of a monkey

J Pickering

It's a shame The Monkey was released the same year as Final Destination: Bloodlines, but I did really enjoy it! I lowkey think it's better than Longlegs.

Itsjoinks1

NEW KILL COUNT ALERT also i was waiting for this for a while lol

Shane Gibson

Missed a opportunity for danhaussen curse

Evan Linden

I know what I’m watching while I make dinner. Or, perhaps not?

Lyra Orsinov

Monkees reference in the description?? Peak as hell

Syd

Seeing the trailers for this movie I was skeptical but I ended up really enjoying it! As someone who has been around a lot of weird and random death, it hits just right

Arseriel 01

I just liked the obserdity of the kills its alot like Final Destination where often the stories arent great but the kills go all out

Christopher Cruz

I put this on in the background at work this morning and had completely forgotten you were counting it today. What a great surprise

MadTinkerer

Dang it. Hey IPFreely here to mention that the whole Disney trademarking the monkey actually appears to be an urban legend. I spent several fruitless hours one day trying to determine if there was any truth behind it and couldn't come up with anything suggesting it is. What really seems to have happened is an executive just assumed that Disney would have an issue with them putting the original monkey in and kaiboshed it. I actually hope to make a video about it sometime over the next couple of months, still working on my debut video though. Legal edutainment is hard.

Jacob Waters

Stephen King has said that the movie was batshit insane

Britten

Kinda dug most of this movie honestly

Vicki M

I really enjoyed the chaotic energy of this movie. It’s boys with bad hair and daddy issues.

Shane A Brown

I really liked the tone of it. I love the outrageous kills and humor.

shamelessawong

I'm glad you waited it out to cover this film! The relevance between Oz Perkins and Anthony Perkins given the Psycho Kill Counts feels like fate writing itself

diblyy

thats metal! in your lungs!

Jimmie Maghes

I love how it’s got a dark sense of humor to it but as much fun as the kills are it does have an underlying message to it. Death is random and unexpected. And you really have no control over it. People love people cry people live and people die. That’s life .

Joe Croft

Where is it on streaming?

Samantha

I really enjoyed the movie! Definitely my sense of humor and gore lol.

Hail Paimon!

Vince McMahon: "Life SUCKS... and then you DIE!"

Parasocially Awkward

I really enjoyed this movie. It's up there, in terms of tone, with 'The Coffee Table'.

Meadow

I have fond memories of this movie because it was the first time I snuck into a R-Rated movie while being too young to go by myself.

ximos

that was good!

BeccyBooDraws

22:05, I’m surprised you didn’t make a Banana Phone joke on that lol

Kristopher Fulton

I kinda feel like Idas death wasnt the monkey. Just another way death happens.

Socio

I've been waiting to hear your thoughts on this since I saw it in theaters last year. What a fun, bizarre little movie with surprising heart.

Ye_Not_Guilty

I actually really enjoyed this film it's silly, doesn't take itself too serious, and gory. It also doesn't help I'm kind of a sucker for Stephen king adaptations

Minx.the.Tank

I was kinda hoping it was more like Longlegs but it's probably one of the better King adaptations tone wise

Steven Shaw

The kills are great. The rest of the movie, not so much.

horror.cinnamon.roll

It was definitely more quirky than I wanted it to be, but I definitely loved the cast and the kills. The humor just wasn't for me, but not everything needs to cater to everyone, and I actually appreciated it way more the second time around.

Mahtomedi1997

Movie was fantastic kill count was fantastic!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

mortua conjuga

the monkey chain! the monkey's fist! THE MONKEY!
