Hey everyone, the moment's finally here - the poll for the next big franchise I cover on the Kill Count. VERY excited about this because I feel like I can't lose - I've been waiting and wanting to watch and cover ALL of these since I started the channel and now I finally get to.

Listed are franchises with 5 or more movies since I already had a poll for smaller (>5) series earlier (when Alien won).

The series are listed alphabetically with the current number of installments in parentheses - included in that number is all sequels, prequels, remakes, and reboots unless otherwise specified.

You can vote for as many or as little choices as you want.

The poll will be active for 3 days and end at noon PST on Thursday 12/7.

I unfortunately can't edit the poll to add more choices so hopefully I didn't leave out anything egregious (and please don't ask to add options).

Go forth and practice democracy.

Anna

I really hope we're going to be getting Resident Evil, I've been waiting for that franchise since I found this channel in 2018!

Mirage

I’m hoping Saw is the next one but any of them would be fun

BumBobBoi

All of my votes are in just have to cross my fingers

John Webb

Oh man I need that Halloween Kill count in my life

Orange

Saw and Resident Evil would both be great! :D

JordanL

I want Halloween, but I think it would be most fun in October. I voted for Final Destination instead!

Schmada Naylor

Had to vote for Halloween, but Phantasm was close, I love the campiness of the Spectre Balls

2026-09-11 22:00 I’m eagerly watching the polls change. Several are neck and neck

Dead Meat

I'll probably waste a lot of time over the next 3 days hitting refresh on this page

Ariadne

tremors omg please actually just the first 2 because the rest are weird and unsettling NRA commericals

Richard Lucero

These are all GREAT choices. Dont know where to start...... 🤔

Dead Meat

Another vote, and not for another few months or so. Give new patrons the chance to weigh in.

Jared Landers

If I’m being honest, I want to wait for you to do the Halloween series when it’s like near Halloween.

Kevin Daniels

There is supposed to be a new halloween coming out next October. We should save it for the time leading up to that

Kevin Daniels

Question for Mr. Meat, Is there going to be a pattern like long series, some stand alones, short series, more stand alones, long again etc.. Or are you just gonna wing it?

Dead Meat

I loosely plan to follow that kind of pattern but also down to just wing it. And with the two-a-week release schedule who knows what's gonna happen.

Rachel Malone

Nightmare would be a great series to do first (personally I'd love to start small-ish and go for Final Destination series). I just hope Halloween is saved for October. I know we all want that amazing series covered but there's a new Halloween movie coming out in October with Jamie Lee Curtis. Think the Halloween series would be a great set up for the new movie, like you did with the Chucky series.

Chante Holiday

Are you just doing the most voted for now and have more votes later or will u just do the top three?

Kevin Daniels

He said above that he will just do the top voted series and then have another vote in the future

Ryan Hallermeier

You gotta save Halloween for this Halloween!

Melissa Noël

If you don't make the pun, "he/she should've SAW that coming!" during the Saw Kill Count I will be very disappointed in you, James! :P

Colin Perkins

I voted on Leprechaun, Underworld and Texas Chainsaw, but I want Leprechaun to win the most. :)

Marissa Wilkey

You need a Lucy end credit scene where Chelsea makes costumes for Lucy representing each series. It's a crossover, it's great. Imagine striped shirt and fedora Lucy for Elm Street.

Justin Griggs

I voted for like 5 of them but im hoping youll do halloween, nightmare on elm street, or saw. Hopefully all of them will be done eventually

Ashley Cooper

Idk horror movies well enough for this but I voted for Halloween to shut ppl up

Jack

I said to myself "What do I want my life to become for months? Nightmare? Fine."

Jake Lammers

Saw or Nightmare on Elm Street would be perfect!

Connor Henderson

He had Jason now we have to have Freddy, come on Nightmare!

Justin Griggs

Glad to hear lol, cant wait to see which one wins the poll

Nicole Killam

Obviously looking forward to the popular franchise that wins but definitely can’t wait until you get down the list one day to Tremors! Always been a classic series in my family!

DJ

I live for all things Lucy, so I support this!!

Jarron Williams

I still cant wait for you to do Sleepaway Camp, it just barely made the cut by half a movie.

Jarron Williams

But Nightmare on Elm Street will have the most fun choosing best death scene, or Final Destination. They have the most creative death scenes in the genre imo

Daniel Fahy

This was not the way I expected to find out there were 8 Howling films, I thought there was only like 4. Also 12 Puppetmaster films...eesh. That would be an endurance challenge that was test your love of horror.

Kevin Daniels

In my very good opinion you should do long series, short, long, short, long, short etc with a stand alone a week too when you are doing 2 a week. That way you are always working on a series and still pumping out stand alones!

Aiden Boyer

Let's get Saw to number one, they have the best kills

forsetha

If we do Puppet Master, we get a kill count with Greg Sestero.

Kevin Daniels

I remember back in the 90s I was renting several puppet films on vhs from good old blockbuster and the guy just sold them to me for a dollar each because no one ever rented them. It is one of my fondest childhood memories

Aiden Boyer

Dead Meat should just do all the ones with triple digits...

Dead Meat

I hope to do ALL of these, period, eventually!

Kevin E Dellatore

Final destination would be amazing to see. Because we're guaranteed to see some sickening kills
