Flagellants - Fanatical Doomsayers & Mad Zealots (Patreon)

Hi everyone! Today, we're sharing the first of our holy warriors for the month. We're starting off with the desperate and unhinged flagellants. These fanatics are commoners driven to despair by loss and suffering, and now believe the end is nigh. As such, they've taken up arms, eager to prove their worth in any conflict they see as heralding the end.

Mechanically, they are self-destructive zealots who build fury over time, increasing their damage output. We've included a couple of variants, including a herald who can lead entire congregations of mad flagellants.

These maniacs can make for unhinged allies to your players or dangerously misguided foes. Have fun setting them loose in your adventures!
