Yipee Ki Yay John McClane is back!! I had no idea what to expect from the 4th instalment but I had an absolute blast with this one! So great to see Bruce back in the day kickin butt and takin names. This one is totally underrated in my opinion 🔥🔥🔥Direct link

Glad you loved! Will catch this tomorrow eve.

This is a very good one! Just giving u the heads up, don't watch the fifth one because it's terrible.

streaky

Glad you liked it - this movie has a lot of undeserved hate tbh. Now the next one kinda deserves it though - it's still, y'know, okay, I guess, and I think everybody should make up their own mind, but..

Elliot Rittenhouse

I have mixed feelings when it comes to this movie. I enjoy it and watch it every year as part of my Die Hard marathon, but it’s always the toughest to get through because it was the last movie I ever saw in the theater with my dad.

David Murray

It's appropriately rated in my opinion. There was no need for another sequel. I haven't seen the fifth one but apparently it's a steaming pile of dog shit.

As time goes by, I think we’ll all be appreciating more and more of Bruce Willis.

Witchfinder General

In my personal reality there are... 3 Die Hard movies 3 Indiana Jones movies 3 Jason Bourne movies 3 Toy Story movies 3 LOTR movies 3 Terminator movies 3 Star Wars movies

Ian

Agreed Jen this one is fantastic, glad you enjoyed it and I look forward to watching when I get the time 🔥

Vwlss Nvwls

I really enjoyed this one, and I love Timothy Olyphant which made it even more fun for me.

Cody Cameron

Please watch the 5th Die Hard. Sure will say it's weaker but since you had blast with this one I think you will like it. At very least watch so that you have the Die Hard franchise complete

Ian

Please don't Jen the 5th is not good at all and doesn't even feel part of the die hard franchise more a cash grab afterthought. But hey if you wanna watch it I will ofc do so along with you

Andrew Roach

Speaking of Die Hard you need to watch another Christmas classic if you haven't seen it yet: A Christmas Story. (And yes, this one is actually about Christmas.)

Ian Forbes

Jen, you probably recognized Maggie Q from MI:3 as the only female on the team in that film. And if you want more parkour in your films, the guy doing the parkour in this one (Cyril Rafaelli) was an instrumental figure in the start of it as was his co-star in the French film District B-13. Plenty of fun parkour work and action in the film. Even if you don’t ever react to it, it’s a fun watch.

Jeremy Nuss

I forgot Kevin Smith and Tim Russ are in this. I think I only saw this once before, in the theater. I really liked it.

Superb job & loved your outro! The action swooning. 😅 Tons of fun and laughs and ka-blammos.💥 I'd watch Die Hard 5 if you put it up but there are 501+ better action movies that you've still to get to. Having said that, it is satisfying to finish a franchise and (as you know) it's good for the YT algorithm when entire franchises are there for viewers. In DH4, Bruce's young sidekick (actor Justin Long) was also in Galaxy Quest, playing a similar character (nerdy computer expert helping to save the day). 15:00 Thank you, T-1000 action figure. 44:23 Fab reaction. One of the reasons I'm here. 💜 58:38 The dirty look John McC gives sidekick after being wacked by airbag. 😅 1:08:02 "God bless him for trying." (to punch kung fu babe) 😅 Further Bruce Willis; The Last Boy Scout (1991 / action/crime) Guaranteed to thrill your socks off / laugh your head off. Dir by Tony Scott (True Romance, Man on Fire, Top Gun, Crimson Tide, Enemy of the State, Spy Game) Written by Shane Black (w. of Lethal Weapon 1 & 2, Last Action Hero, The Long Kiss Goodnight, etc.) Tears of the Sun (2003 / military action - extraction mission / from dir. of Training Day) Unbreakable (2000 / thriller/mystery/sci-fi) Further Timothy Olyphant; HBO's Deadwood (Revisionist Western / 3 seasons then 1 movie) The Crazies (2010 / horror) Further Mary Elizabeth Winstead; The Thing (2011 / prequel to John Carpenter's The Thing, not as good obviously.. and they should have used the practical effects that they filmed it with.. [execs decided to put in CGI].. but it's made with respect and affection for the JC version) Fargo - Season 3 (I know you've still to do the spectacularly good 2nd season) 👍 Check out John Woo's 'Hard Boiled' (1992) and also 'The Killer' (1989) for two of China's greatest action movies of all time. The gunplay in Hard Boiled is absolutely insane. 'Sneakers' (1992) is a big star-name hackers/heist/comedy, it was a huge commercial success and is much loved. Would do well on YT. It's Robert Redford's Ocean's Eleven.

Arthur 'Two Sheds' Jackson

Forget Die Hard 5, just watch The Last Boy Scout for more of Bruce Willis John McClane-isms 😆

Joe Blankenship

I know I've seen the 5th movie at least twice. When it came out, then years later. But I have almost no memory of what happens in it. It's skippable.

JPDotCom23

I've seen it recommended already but here is my two cents. While it doesn't get the respect, I have no idea why 'Die Hard' fans just dump on this, they just compare these movies too much to the original and don't give them a chance. So yes, please watch 'A Good Day to Die Hard', I thorougly enjoyed it myself. And for other Bruce Willis movies, you can't go wrong with 'The Last Boy Scout', came out in the 90's, written by Shane Black and Directed by the late-great Tony Scott of 'Top Gun', 'Days of Thunder' and 'Unstoppable' fame. Other Bruce Willis movies worth watching are '16 Blocks', 'Hostage' and 'Tears of the Sun'.
