Tom W.

My first "none" vote.

The Uber Geek

The Great Escape use to be on at every Christmas in the UK, no reason why except the old networks being able to show it for cheap fees probably.

Dylan

So many great choices and no matter which one wins I’ll be watching cause Jen’s reactions are the best 🔥

Collinson

Fingers crossed for The Great Escape. A real classic.

Jen Murray

Not every poll will appeal to everyone!

Tom W.

Of course. You make every video entertaining regardless.

Fanchman

Cool Hand Luke is a classic!

Danny Steele

Holy Jenny Flicks Batman! This is one of the few times that I have actually voted recently and I will actually watch it. The Great Escape and the Dirty Dozen are Great War movies with an absolutely stacked cast of stars. Bullitt is a great. The 1966 version of Batman is just shear fun and it is NOT meant to be taken seriously. The Producers is a great comedy with a good premise that makes you look at a stage production differently.

Geoff S.

Hope Bullitt makes it.

RX2904

There are not a lot of must-see movies in the world. To each their own, watch what you like I always say. However, The Great Escape is one of those movies you just have to see.

Nik

Adam West!

rnrsteev

Bullitt- Steve shows off some of his special skills

Ron

I'm the exact opposite. I like all of them.

Matt O'Keefe

Bullitt is one of my 82 year old mothers favorites. She has a big crush of Steve McQueen. She has had one for awhile. We watched The Magnificent Seven 2 nights ago.

Jon Anderson

I could go for any of these, honestly. I would LOVE to see a Jen reaction to Adam West's Batman - to me he's kind of the American Roger Moore - but PLEASE save it for when you're in a very silly mood, or actually high.

Dufflepod

That's an almost impossible choice, ultimately between two cinematic classics. I think the selection list is corrupt, however, I feel (lightly) tortured into saying.!"££$"

Justin Bartlett

Never seen Bullitt. I hear spielberg is doing a remake of it. But it's been a few years now.

edgecenter

Attack of the Killer Tomatoes (1978), Clerks (1994), Beavis and Butthead, Daria (1990s)

Danny Steele

Bullitt is so important that EVERY car chase that has been seen on both movies and television since this movie was released owns a debt of gratitude to this landmark film.

Clay F

A nice list. All of the movies in the poll are good.

Damon Corrigan

The only one that really says must watch is The Great Escape. I've seen it, and it is long, but it's a favorite with a star-studded cast. There are a few others I haven't seen, and I wouldn't mind watching them with you all.

Ian Cano

That cop in Zodiac wears his gun like Bullitt.

Nicholas Thurkettle

Ooh, this is an EXCELLENT poll. I think I'd give the strongest recommendation to "The Great Escape" because it functions very similarly to a heist movie with all the secrets, schemes, and codes, and we know how much you appreciate a good movie heist. Plus its unforgettable musical theme :)

K Dub

Bullitt?!!!🏆👏🏾 Mr McQueen's influence as an off screen car and racing enthusiast was so impactful on other Hollywood projects...no spoilers.🤔😏😉👍🏾👏🏾

K Dub

🖥👀😯🤯 Blake Edward's "A Shot in The Dark"?!!! introducing Peter Sellers' comedic "Pink Panther" Universe?!!! YES...PLEASE!!!🙏🥰

zynjams

I almost picked them all, Batman, which is ok, doesn't belong on this list of classic movies

jessie ball

Only movie/tv series worth watching of the 3 you have here is "Clerks" (1994).

ed209

next time for 60s movies, you could include A Fistful of Dollars(1964), The Good, the Bad and the Ugly(1966), 2001: A Space Odyssey( 1968), Planet of the Apes(1968) ( if you havent seen them of course :) )

DrJonasVenture

Manchurian Candidate would be my top pick although there’s a lot of good stuff here.

Clay F

True, Batman is an outlier, but some of us have nostalgia for it.

Clay F

She has reacted to Planet of the Apes (1968). That is the reason I joined her channel was to watch that full reaction.

To Wa

The above list is an argument for a "all of the above" option.

Mastervodo

I hope Batman wins! Soooooo campy. POW! ZAP! SNIKT!

MrDarkbluman

I appreciate your willingness to go for the classics. I've only seen The Producers out of this list so that gets my vote. That one definitely had an impact on future works.

Jeremy V.

Batman ‘66 would be amazing!

Jason Scade

Fab 60s selection. Hoping 'Cool Hand Luke' wins someday. 'Where Eagles Dare' is also essential 60s viewing, WWII spy/action.

Steve Holton

Ian, as you probably already know, the character of Frank Bullitt (Played by Steve McQueen) is based on the real San Francisco police detective portrayed in Zodiac. So, Bullitt wears his gun like that cop in Zodiac.

Julian San

2025 Will be Jen’s best year; finally watching The Great Escape, starting Deep Space 9, 100K subscribers on YouTube.

Dave K

Cool hand Luke was part of my senior high school analysis of film class it has a lot of unique camera angles and symbolism built into the script and production... Great flick

Dave K

I'm extremely happy I know four of these I'm definitely in for this is great

edgecenter

Ya, that was funny. I liked Daria too. Kiler tomatoes was not a serious movie effort.

Adam Davis

A lot of really great films here so, it won't be too disappointing whatever wins really.

Pravda

'66 Batman has its fans, and I see it's currently second on the list, but it does NOT belong with these others.

Daniel Goldberg

There is not a movie on this list that I wouldn’t want to watch with you, but I’m pulling for The Producers. It’s among Mel Brooks best. But the Manchurian Candidate, the ‘66 Batman, or The Graduate would also be good. Though I expect I’ll enjoy it no matter what wins.

jon bolton

As a kid in the 80s i grew up watching the 60s Batman series on breakfast tv on weekday mornings. Finally i got to see and record the film and still love it to this day.

zynjams

a shot in the dark is brilliant. the best part is when Peter Sellars is walking through the nudist camp.

Jeremy V.

Can the next poll be Batman movies made during the ‘60s?

Nik

Same!

Nik

I do wish the movie had King Tut so Batman could properly dance. 🤠

TheNeonRabbit

There was only one movie: "Batman: The Movie" (1966) The Batman series ran from '66 to '68

Jeremy V.

It was a joke because it looks like it might not win.

Bryan Tuck

The '66 Batman is a hoot :) And an essential part of the character's history, along with the TV series it was spun-off from.

Toc

There were no "Batman movies", other than the cheesy, crappy, lame embarrassment of a flimsy studio cash-in (that was only about ten minutes longer than a pair of Batman episodes.....which were always two-parters). There is the great Batman TV series from the 60s.....and there's the lame, crappy Drive-In movie from '66 that nobody ever liked or watched until the dopey 2000s. I mean, I saw the '66 Batman movie when I was about 8 and I could tell immediately it was done cheap and lame and completely inferior to the TV series.

Toc

Yay, why not give more spoilers! 🤣

Rune Schaumann

Disappointed to see A Shot In The Dark in last place. :(

Major Peril

Kudos to Producer's Pick for their choice of Bullitt (1968), a great action classic !!! With The Great Escape (1963) in the running this could be shaping up to be a Steve McQueen-palooza! 🙏 All we need are a few more like The Blob (1958), The Sand Pebbles (1966), The Thomas Crown Affair (1968), and Papillon (1973). We could even add in Le Mans (1971), The Getaway (1972) and The Hunter (1980) which aren't even on the request site yet. (HINT, HINT)

Scaredy-cat

I'm surprised Where Eagles Dare (1968) isn't on the poll. I don't think it matters though, with this line up we can't lose and I'm happy to see The Great Escape in the lead.

Amarant Coral

Have you ever done or considered doing a modern foreign films poll or foreign classics film poll? Or is that too niche. Not sure how this community feels about subtitles.

zynjams

trying to generate interest since it's losing so badly

Jen Murray

This is a list of 60's movies I want to see, so imo opinion they all belong here

Jeremy V.

I have to rig this poll in the Bat-cave! “Atomic Batteries to Power! Turbines to Speed!”

Eric Janssen

The Manchurian Candidate has only been reacted to one or two times, but it’s a Cold War trip for conspiracy junkies. 😎 (And a little too current for its own good…)

Marc Peterson

Cool Hand Luke a must! Cemented Paul Newman as a star. It has some of the most iconic scenes and quotes in movie history. George Kennedy won best supporting actor (you know him as Leslie Nielsen’s side kick in Naked Gun movies). The Producers another must! A very young Gene Wilder. Keep up the fabulous work! Regards, Marc

Marc Peterson

Jen, one other thing. I know you love movie scores. Five time Grammy winner Lalo Schifrin did the score for Cool Hand Luke (as well as Bullitt and the Dirty Harry movies). He is still with us at age 93.

Jeremy V.

You make me sad.

Clay F

Yeah, last place, barely beating none of the above.

Jeremy V.

It’s a good question. Maybe a poll for subtitles vs. Dubbed.

Jeremy V.

It would’ve been nice to see the dirty dozen do a little bit better. So many polls so little time.

Georgius Agricola

Holy cow! Too many good movies to choose from in this Poll list! And I can't remember if Jen ever publishes a Poll based on a theme, but one such theme that just occured to me is "car chases." There is one movie in the current list which would be near the top in a car chases poll, and I'm sure there would be some sprited debate for other nominations! :-)

Georgius Agricola

Yes, kudos to Lalo! He also gave us the theme for the TV series (and beyond) 'Mission Impossible.' And while I'm on TV themes I’ve always the loved the intro theme for 'I Spy,’ near the end of this clip. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EOwQWDSzjYw Dripping with cool! :-)

Marc Peterson

French Connection a unique car chase…absolutely stunning!

Marc Peterson

Another great Schifrin theme…Mannix…Tarantino paid homage to it in Once Upon A Time.

Jason Scade

+1 for the 1960's Inglourious Basterds.

Jason Scade

Yes, disappointed to see that too, it's probably the best Panther movie. People must have misvoted in a writ of fealous jage.

Jason Scade

The Getaway, nice one! We're getting into Sam Peckinpah territory, the grandfather of slo-mo shoot-out / death scenes. Also huge plus 1 for Papillon, it's the Shawshank of the 70s.

Clay F

A Shot in the Dark (1964) is beating None of the Above

Jason Scade

+1 for John Woo's 'Hard Boiled' and also 'The Killer'.

Timo Turunen

Only movie i'd like to rewatch :( And i even missed the voting.
