This week we're checking out more SEINFELD and more TREK of course (don't worry we are back to 1 DS9 1 TNG next week!), as well as a Coen brothers movie I've been wanting to see for a while - from the front page of my MOVIE REQUEST SITE! Really looking forward to all of it!

GUYS what-- it's going to be AUGUST already?! What the frig! I dunno about you guys but this summer is flying by for me! One of the craziest summers of my life actually😆

Seems like a good year for summer movies in theaters right now! If I wasn't so busy at home I'd go see Superman for sure! But definitely looking forward to when it comes to streaming so I can watch with you guys! Also Fantastic Four looks cool? Have you guys been going to the movies this summer?

THANK YOU FOR BEING HERE! Honestly I wouldn't be able to keep this channel running without your support and it means the world to me. I love watching stuff here with you guys ♡

Hope everyone has a great week! ♡♡♡

xoxo

You can change your email notifications on the left hand panel in 'Settings' under 'Email Notifications' (desktop)*Regarding Name in Credits: If you're on a credits tier it can take up to a week to see your name in the credits (though usually within a few days). This is because I sometimes work ahead to get videos ready to post before they go live. If you do not see your name after 1 week please message me and I will make sure to add it. Credits will be listed as your name shows on Patreon. If you don't want your name in credits please message me and I'll remove you from list.*Spoilers: PLEASE no spoilers in comments or in direct messages to me. No "hints" or trying to lead me in the right direction or asking if I want to know something. The point of these reactions is for me to discover things as I go and to be surprised. I do my best to return messages but please do not be offended if I do not reply or if replies take a while. Many larger channels hire people to help them answer messages or reply to comments. I read all comments and messages myself, even if I don't have time to reply. I was hoping for Smokey And The Bandit but Raising Arizona is a good one too, I'm sure you'll love it.

Preaching to the Horse's Mouth

Obvs we need to be careful of spoilers but one of these TNGs should answer one of the longstanding questions you've had since we started this journey. I suspect that we're all very excited to watch it 🖖

Jen Murray

I dunno how you knew but Smokey and the Bandit is on the schedule very soon!

Jason Scade

Hugely looking forward to very early Coens, I've not seen that in decades. It's going to pretty, pretty, prettt-ay relatable for you. 💜

Rob Nichols

It's on the front page where you've been picking from lately. Glad it's coming up, thanks.

If you like Burt Reynolds try Sharkey's Machine. His best acting role and he also directed.

Over50Gamer

I'm definitely going to see F4 in the theaters. I'm not much of a DC guy, but I'll watch Superman when it comes to streaming.

Gary Poussard

I would recommend Fantastic Four over Superman if you end up going to the movies.

Happy Hanukkah

"One of the craziest summers of my life actually" Really? Has anything special been going on? :-P :-) Which makes Raising Arizona a fitting choice.

Kristin

Holy Moly!! Raising Arizona!! Oh yeah!!! And the Pegasus! One of my fav episodes.

Kristin

the timing couldn't be more perfect.

Oh Jen, you're gonna love the new Superman movie—and the new Fantastic Four too. I seriously can't wait for them to hit streaming so you can finally watch and react with all of us. It's gonna be a blast seeing your reaction. As someone who's been a lifelong Superman, DC, Marvel, and overall comic/sci-fi fan (and you know how deep my love for Star Trek runs), it honestly feels so damn good seeing both these movies finally get the respect they deserve. After so many ups and downs with past versions, watching Superman and The Fantastic Four: First Steps both succeed—critically, financially, and with fans—just hits different. Sure, Fantastic Four might be taking the lead, but that doesn't take anything away from how proud I am. This isn't just a win for DC or Marvel—it's a win for two iconic teams that finally got the love they've earned. It feels like justice, honestly. I'm always loving your Star Trek: TNG and DS9 reactions! I'm so excited to see more this week and next month. I'm pretty sure once you finish TNG's final season, you'll dive into Generations, TNG's first movie next—and I seriously can't wait to see your reaction to that. I'm still really hoping you'll give Voyager a shot too. I honestly think you'll enjoy it just as much as you've been loving TNG and DS9. It has its own vibe, but it really grows on you. 90s Star Trek is honestly some of the best the franchise has ever given us. Even Enterprise and Nemesis—TNG's last movie in the early 2000s—still carry that spirit and depth that made that whole era so special. 😊

Kristin

She needs to wait to watch First Contact until after the start of season 4 of DS9. Otherwise, a major spoiler.

I've been wondering about getting out to the movies for Superman and FF. Not sure. My little hometown has those D-Box seats now, that shimmy and shake. I think I saw some horror movie in the shaky seat and it was kind of neat. There's so much to do and so much to watch at home, it's harder to get out for movies haha.

Summer

I don’t go to movie theaters, more like watching anything from home where I can pause and do anything needed at once

The Star Treker (aka Michael)

She needs to watch Generations first—that's the movie that ties directly into the Season 4 premiere of DS9. First Contact doesn't come into play until Season 5, somewhere between "Children of Time" and "Empok Nor." But the first TNG movie she should watch is Generations, before First Contact. She might want to watch some of Voyager before she watches First Contact too.
