No way! You have no idea how in I am! This is awesome!

Thegonagle

Great choice Jen, so much to love about this show. P.S. Futurama rhymes with Mama.

Cody Cameron

Thank you so much for this. I always hoped one of my reactors would watch this show. So I could watch with them. To me it's very fitting that it's you

Harvey Lee

This is one hilarious show , one of my favs , there's some rib bruising laughs ahead on this one !! Jen 🤣🔥

Brett Whittaker

Good news everyone! Jen is watching Futurama

Matt

Yessssss

Curran Dobbs

They were going to feature the "Kill all humans" dream in the Star Trek where Data discovers his dream program but they had to cut it for time.

Jeff Seely

I totally get the Zapp love. He's hilariously awful.

Geoff S.

Jen, the color of your top sort of matches what the land lady is wearing so you're on your way!

zynjams

the song when they are moving in is called the Odd Couple, a show from the 60s about roommates'

Aaron Thorpe

Thanks so much for the reaction, Jen. Love this show! I always pronounce it as future-rah-ma, with the aaaahhhh sound. I'm from South Australia where our general pronunciation skew closer to British. For example, chance and glance have a longer 'ah' sound, too.

William Rosmer

when you asked, the first pronunciation is correct. also pretty sure people did used to eat mummies the couch gags for the show are always under the main logo and whatever show is playing on the tv when the ship crashes into it. if it wasn't for the leaking, i'd live in the underwater apartment i believe the voice actor has said he played zapp as if william shatner was captain of the enterprise. it's not the same voice as troy, but a tribute to the actor phil hartman. the voice actor is the same as fry/the professor/zoidberg billy west

Banes

So much to love while rewatching this show. Definitely Simpsons-like in the art style, and the top-tier comedy writing. I think Futurama is a lot more pleasing to the eye, with beautiful backgrounds and darker colors than The Simpsons uses.

Matt

Zapp Brannigan is voiced by Billy West, the same actor who voices Fry, Professor Farnsworth and Dr. Zoidberg. Originally the plan was to have Phil Hartman (the guy who voiced Troy McClure) voice Zapp, but Phil Hartman died tragically before the first episode of Futurama premiered.

Noremac

Am I the only one who still holds a grudge against Billy West? Haha

Zapp Rowsdower

You had it right. "Future - Rom - ma"

Ian

Champagan for everyone 😀🍾

Joe Blankenship

I wish Phil Hartman could have done Zap Brannagan. He would've killed.
