*Note: This reaction was recorded before I heard the sad news of Rob Reiner's passing this past Sunday. I've decided to leave the reaction as is and I hope the joy I felt while watching it is what he would've wanted. May he rest in peace ♡

I loved this movie so much! So funny, smart, charming and relatable. Loved the chemistry between Meg Ryan and Billy Crystal as friends and as lovers. Very cool to see their relationship grow and change over a decade and through different phases of their lives. Loved the music too! Any other movies like this we should check out?

Never seen this movie before I just know the iconic scene . Shall watch this tomorrow most likely . Glad you havnt altered the outro in any way because this is how you felt regardless and genuine and natural is how an outro should be 💙

Rob Riener has a fun role, as an actor, in EdTV with Matthew McConaughey, Woody Harrelson, and directed by Ron Howard. It's RomCom Adjacent, IMO. I haven't seen any reactors tackle it yet. I'd love to see a reaction to it.

You asked about another movie like this? This movie is directly influenced by "Annie Hall", which you would do a fantastic reaction to, and which stars Diane Keaton.....who also just passed. One of the greatest, most groundbreaking, most cinematic comedies ever made; When Harry Met Sally is directly the offspring of Annie Hall.

I've watched this movie around NYE for decades now, ever since I was a kid. The music has always stuck with me and I adore jazzy piano trios. Such a good flick and it set the bar for romcoms to this day IMO.

On a funny note I just watched this with a girlfriend recently , a short lived romance that went off the rails , so funny and a touch bittersweet for me . Great film with very delightful chemistry between Billy Crystal and Meg Ryan 🖤♥️ And sad to hear the tragic news 😞, to lose such a great director in such a horrid way his movies influenced so much of my life . RIP Rob Reiner 🙏💔

When I watch this movie the old saying "People come into your life for a reason, a season, or a lifetime" always comes to mind. This movie and Sleepless in Seattle are my favorite Meg Ryan movies. I never had paid attention to the credits, rarely watch them to be honest, so I just found out that Rob Reiner's mother Estelle played the woman in the bar who wanted what Sally was having. I was reading about his life and saw that.

Pretty good movie, but I never really understand romance movies. I've never had a date or girlfriend or anything like that. So when I see romance movies I may as well be watching a film about dragons for as fantastical as it all seems to me. Oh well. At least they don't make me as mad as coming of age films. Is it like that for anyone else?

I know exactly what you mean - so many decisions, statements, and conflicts that the characters make just don't make sense to me. The comparison to fantasy is an interesting one because you're right, there is the same sense of having to learn and understand the lore and rules of the universe the movie is based in.
