Tony Stark is back and this time he's got Super friends! It was cool to catch up again with Tony and to see Scar-Jo introduced - I want to know more about her!! Also Rhodes being back was great - you know I love a team up! Can't wait to see where all these characters go from here! Thor coming soon!

Movie Runtime: 2:04:39

Dylan

I love the iron man movies. Happy to rewatch the whole MCU saga with you.

Ian

Your reaction was fantastic as always and your joy at seeing Thor's hammer at the end was a wonderful way to finish on 🔥 the thumbnail just shows how much fun you had watching this one 🙂looking forward to watching Thor with ya next year ⚡

They recast Rhodey because in the first movie, RDJ was paid a lot less and Terrance Howard who played Rhodey was paid more. After the movie's popularity (and RDJ in particular), Terrance Howard was getting a pay cut to get RDJ a pay raise so he decided to turn down the part.

W T

"why did they recast him" probably because Terrance Howard was and to this day still is an insufferable ass trying way too hard to get deals out of the little substance there is to his character In case that sounds exaggerated: he is the 1 * 1 = 2 guy, the "new new math" dude getting an unreasonably big platform with idiot podcasters willing to host any deluded, psychosis-ridden wannabe-celebrity to push their would-be brand. And what a great decision that turned out to be.

Dr. NDT politely tearing up Howard's hypothesis(es) is a highlight of this year. 🤣

Sam Rockwell hamming it up? Don't you mean... Hammering it up?

Curran Dobbs

The post-credit scene is a bit of a Thor subject for some people.

Harvey Lee

Continuing on the MCU adventure , Ironman 2 RDJ growing into his Tony Stark -ness We get to meet ScarJo♥️ And what an awesome tie in to one of my favorite Characters. Thor . Enjoying the New Year with this reaction ahhh 🤗♥️🖤♥️🖤

Matt

Watched a interesting movie yesterday with Sam Rockwell called "Box of Midnight" kinda weird but cool

K Dub

If it hasn't been mentioned already keep an eye out for our beloved Stan Lee(RIP) who Tony mistook during the opening hectic rushed handshake scene as Bill King but was really Stan Lee as a Marvel joke.😉 Thank you for another great reaction perfect for New Year's eve. Happy New Year to you and the fam and a great 2026!!!🫵👏

Mastervodo

What you did there? I see it.

Summer

Put in my requests for the month, everyone should check the request site often, you can even have it show you the most recent requested and vote for anything you think Jen would like, as always half the month I think of things to recommend but then forget them on the first

Curran Dobbs

In my defense, I was hammered when I wrote it...

Rob Nichols

I keep a text file that I add titles to as they occur to me, so I can refer to it as I add to the request site.

K Dub

Thanks. As a 54 year old I just remember that voice and suspenders behind that desk on tv on CNN.

Summer

That’s commitment I have not yet achieved

1:23:25 "oooh it's like a Dyson Sphere" You truly have my kind of mind, Jen! 😁

Before they decided on Robert Downey, Jr. for the the role of Tony Stark in Iron Man 1, Sam Rockwell was on the list of actors being considered.

JPDotCom23

Very excited going on this journey with you, back to where it all began.

Remember being a bit disappointed in this one, mostly for the fact we didn't get to see more of RDJ and Rourke interact (both were having major career resurrections at the time). On the other hand, love me some War Machine. Better than I remember overall, but then I mostly experienced these Phase 1 movies under a drunken binge in getting hype for Avengers.
