Ugh, The Crow is probably going to win this

Jen Murray

It's a '200 Poll' so ALL movies with 200+ votes will be watched

Geoff S.

Bowfinger is the best in this selection.

M Zed

Bowfinger one day 🤞 I love the concept.

Jake McNulty

Forget "The Dark Knight", "A Knight's Tale" is Heath Ledger's best film!

Tom W.

Go, Sixteen Candles!!!!! That movie is hilarious.

Clay F

Dazed and Confused (1993) all the way.

fallingupdownthere

Sneakers in the lead! Yes! One of my all time favorites.

Meanwhile, in Space....

Love seeing Sneakers in the lead, but A Knight's Tale needs even more love than it's getting. Jen will love it for sure.

mikethemotormouth

I want to vote for The Crow but like V for Vendetta, it would best suit a fall watching

Alexis

I have to add my voice to the chorus of people praising Bowfinger - it's pure comedy gold, you need to watch it regardless of where it comes in the poll.

Mike G

Bowfinger may be under rated, but it is not even one of the best movies on this list.

Bill W

Not really excited about any of these.

davherex

Dazed and Confused, 100%!!! Story takes place on the last day of school, 1976. So the timing would be perfect to watch it in the next week or so. Also, BEST MOVIE SOUNDTRACK, imho!!! Be sure to watch with your bong, like you did with Fast Times at Ridgemont High. Trust me on this one!!!!! 😉

Jason Scade

Fun picks (except The Crow, great but gloomy). Excited for possible Sneakers 200+, I added that to the request site, way back. Thank you for all the upvotes.

Julian Pamplin

‘Signs’ is obviously the one Jen would like best. Sneakers and Bowfinger would also fare well.

Clay F

If you voted Sneakers, please consider additionally voting Dazed and Confused. Two good comedies. IMDb 7.1 (avg rating by 68,000 users), RT 80% -- Sneakers IMDb 7.6 (avg rating by 216,000 users), RT 94% -- Dazed and Confused

Rayna Storie

A Knight's tale is an amazing and fun movie

Jesse Hamm

The Crow. Now, we're talkin'!

Joe Blankenship

I'm rooting for A Knight's Tale, that's one of my endlessly rewatchable movies. Bowfinger, Old School, and Dazed are fire too. Signs is alright. But I think I enjoy it less on each watch.

Joe Blankenship

be a lot cooler if it was. Alright alright alright.

GordonColeVibes

Dealing with loss right now The Crow would be healing

Byrd N. Hand

I'm really only interested in "Dazed and Confused" (though I hate that it and "School of Rock" are the only Richard Linklater films that ever get any reactions 😒) and "Sixteen Candles" (that and "Weird Science" are the next places to go on Jen's John Hughes journey). "Signs" is the movie where M. Night Shyamalan lost me. And I'd much prefer "Animal House" being listed instead of "Old School." 🤷‍♂️

Alexis Vorian

Bowfinger is one of the worst movies i've even seen. I vote Sixteen Candles and Signs.

A L

Come on people. We need more people voting for Dazed and Confused and Sixteen Candles, both classics of their decade.

Clay F

Pumped about "Dazed and Confused" (1993) possibly reaching 200 votes. Takes place in Austin in 1976. Has a young Ben Affleck. Also, breakout role (supporting performance) for Matthew McConnaughey. The director Richard Linklater [e.g., also directed Before Sunrise (1995), School of Rock (2003), etc.] did good job capturing the 70's in that setting in Texas (and could be in other states or Canada, etc.). Great soundtrack. The director (Linklater) lives just outside of Austin. My son lives in Austin and saw Linklater in an Austin grocery store -- and said no one in store seemed to recognize him. Linklater owns a small indie-like movie theater in Austin that I went to. Only has 2 screens. Watched a French movie w/English subtitles.

Clay F

Bowinger currently has the least votes of any choice in the poll, except for none of the above.

Rob Nichols

There should be a movie called "None Of The Above," just to cause confusion on these polls.

Thomas Malley

I know Bowfinger isn't that popular but it really is the last movie of that kind and kind of a classic.

Tom W.

C'mon guys! Sixteen Candles! Do it for Long Duk Dong!

Glenn Galloway

Of all of these, I'd go with The Crow, although if it breaks 200, I'd be happy to wait until October.

JR Bob Dobbs

Of course the best film (Bowfinger) is in last place

Clay F

The only movie w/less than 100 votes. At least it beat None of the above.

Clay F

No movie has reached 200 votes yet. I voted Dazed and Confused. Only needs 68 votes to reach 200. I threw in a vote for Signs to help it reach 200 votes.

A L

It seems like a lot of people don't realize that this isn’t a competition poll and that you can vote for as many choices as you like. It's insane to me how few votes some of these have.

Byrd N. Hand

There are only 2 titles that are of any interest to me here, and I voted for them both (and it doesn't look as though either one is going to cross the threshold 😒). Weird, because I ended up voting for every single title in the last poll. 🤷‍♂️

JR Bob Dobbs

Interesting, what didn't you like about it?

To Wa

How close is Signs to 200? I can only see percentages on my phone.

Arthur 'Two Sheds' Jackson

Wow, are you serious?? Only one movie, and barely. I sometimes do not understand the voters... 😒

Arthur 'Two Sheds' Jackson

If you go to the website it'll show you the votes. Signs was the only movie that made it (202 votes), The Crow only got 199...

Adam R

The Crow stopping at 199 is brutal. 😆

Batguano

For me I voted 'None of the above' this time. Simply because filling the upcoming schedule with several films from that list is not appealing. It's not that I hate any of the films (except Signs) but the next poll could be a belter.

Byrd N. Hand

Yeah, having 6 winners from the previous 2 polls has already put her behind (even with not having one last week), having still not gotten to "All the President's Men," "Witness," or "Dune" '84 (*is* she waiting to watch "Dune: Part 2" first? 🤔). I was kinda surprised to see another one so soon. I'm frankly more disappointed that the lamest (IMO, obviously) title (next to "Old School") ended up winning. 🤦‍♂️

Arthur 'Two Sheds' Jackson

Yeah, IMO it would be better if these polls contained top rated movies from the request site (except The Godfather Part II since Jen already mentioned why that one is a little difficult for her to watch right now). Movies like Witness and Dune have not broken triple digits in upvotes but got 200+ here and people who subscribe have access to the voting site, so I don't even know 😄🤓

Byrd N. Hand

I sometimes wonder how many people here even know about her request site. Frankly, I just don't get the psyche of people who join a Patreon and then virtually *never* interact with it. 🤷‍♂️

Stephanie Bri

when do new polls go live? I haven't been able to vote in anything yet.
