Wakanda is sooo coool! I didn't fully understand before just how technologically advanced and powerful they are! Very cool to see the secrets revealed and the deep lore of what seems like a long line of Black Panthers and Kings. Also great music and a complex villain make this an awesome one! And OH MAN I am SOOO excited for Avengers: Infinity War coming soon!!!

Omg next up is Infinity War. You are gonna be in for a wild ride Jen!

Robert Durant

Jen.....just be prepared for Infinity War.

Brian Straight

I always presumed he took on the Black Panther role at some point when his father got too old to carry it out. Father was king, he was Black Panther. That's why they de-powered him, so he could be powered in his crowning ceremony.

Harvey Lee

So excited for this , one of the few Marvel films I haven't seen yet (I know shame on me) So first time watch for me I have a feeling you really enjoyed it Jen 🩶 My hopes are good for this one . RIP to Chadwick Boseman .🙏

David Grasso

Streamable won’t let me watch on my phone. I can’t stand how it’ll let me watch some things but not others on my phone.

K Dub

Black Panther was the first superhero movie ever nominated for an Oscar for Best Picure of the year. Winning multiple technical awards at the Oscar's that same year. Marvel Studios head Kevin Fiege called it "the crown jewel of the MCU. " Stopping what I'm doing right now hiding in the work supply closet to watch.🤫🤣😂😆 Than you Jen.👌👏🫡

Jen Murray

If you have an Apple device this is a known issue unfortunately.

Vina

I love a lot about his movie but it also frustrates me: Killmonger, a character who was complex and had dreams of black liberation has his motivations and tactics dumbed down so much to try and make audiences stop sympathizing with him, meanwhile a white guy from the CIA - one of the worst institutions on earth - is made a good guy.

Matt

Was just looking for something to watch, and LO AND BEHOLD! 😊

Matt

Speaking of Panthers you should watch the next Pink Panther film "A Shot In The Dark" 1964 😉

Jeff McClellan

If you would like to know more about Wakanda, there is a four-episode animated series on Disney+ called "Eyes of Wakanda" which explains their history in more detail. Each epidsode is about 30 minutes.

Inflewence

Yes, you should watch Sinners. Same director too.

Ian

Probability be Thursday before I have time to watch this one but I know it's going to be great , black panther may well have the coolest suit of them all 🔥 really looking forward to infinity war as I'm sure everyone is , you're going to love it so much . Cheers Jen ✨ Rip Chadwick boseman 🙏

Over50Gamer

I've seen this movie only a couple times, once in the theater, and I surprisingly forget just how beautiful the scenes are shot, how much the acting is on point, the fight choreography... it's an amazing movie! My favorite line: M'baku to Ross "One more word, and I will feed you to my children.... just kidding; we are vegetarians."

Dean

Two Andor actors in this one!

Lee R.

Should watch the Creed series too!

Mastervodo

Serkis and Whitaker!

Dean

I don’t know if Jen is fully prepared for Infinity War 😅

Mastervodo

Yes Sinners! Maybe for Spooky Season? Coming soon.

Mastervodo

As much as any of us at the time!

ellis

"villains" who were correct and "good guys" that were cops? Many such cases

Stephen Dias

Very cool. Ooh, "infinity War" next. So many stories woven together.

Adam

It's a tragedy that Jen only knows Martin Freeman from Fargo and it needs to be corrected!

Real Raw News

Yeah, truly sad. He kept his illness private--I get it--until the end. He died far too young. Other great young actors who died before their time were Patrick Swayze and Heath Ledger

Real Raw News

Look forward to your watch of Ininfity War---to a lot of peple Infinity Wars is the end of the MCU. Most love End Game but others reject it for reasons you can decide for yourself later. Even if you don't publish future MCU films on your chanel, I hope you'll at least watch GOG 3 on your own.

Real Raw News

And before you watch IW, keep in mind it starts immediately follow the end credit scene of Ragnorak, and was rererences in Thor (2011) and Set up in Avengers (2012) GOG (2014) Ultron (2015) and GOG 2 (2017) It's sort of of important to remember these events as you begin your watch of not only the best superhero movie ever made, but one of the best movies ever made.

Curran Dobbs

Ulysses Klaue (Andy Serkis) was in Age of Ultron. Also, he played Gollum in Lord of the Rings/The Hobbit and Martin Freeman played Bilbo Baggins in the Hobbit. They were referred to as "The Tolkien White Guys" on set.

Curran Dobbs

I was in a short film that played at the Busan International Film Festival one year and when Busan was mentioned (and later showed up), I was like the Leo DiCaprio pointing meme.

Thadman

As far as training goes, T'Challa (being the crown prince) has been trained his whole life in many different hand-to-hand/martial art fighting styles. So, he's already a good fighter. The heart-shaped herb is what gives him enhanced strength, speed, and agility. Oh, and healing. It also allows him to commune with the dead, which is why King of the Dead is one name he is also called.

Thadman

Wakanda has always been more advanced than anywhere else, but Shuri is a genius and has built on their already advanced technology. So far, in the MCU, she's the smartest person we've seen in the world.

Gary Cameron

I always think of him as Arthur Dent from Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, though he's been in a lot of other stuff! Does a very convincing American accent for a Brit.

Kane

For a movie with such incredible world building, world class acting and a 10/10 soundtrack, I really wish the last 25 minutes weren't a blurry, messy CGI-fest. I had a very high first impression of this movie, but I don't love it nearly as much on rewatches because the end fight is kind of a mess.

Kane

This was a Ryan Coogler film, he and Michael B. Jordan have collaborated several times already and they haven't missed yet. Fruitvale Station, Creed, this obviously and most recently Sinners. I would love to see you react to any + all of them.
