A young Christina Hendricks pulls off some shady moves in this one! I was feeling suspicious of her at first but she honestly fooled me!

This episode had some great moments: the introduction of Vera (I've been seeing this reference in the comments), Inara getting jealous + Mal dressed as a woman lol!

Lots of great lines too:

"All I got was this dumbass stick that sounds like it's raining"

"I wish you hundreds of fat children"

"You are not the man I married a year ago"

These episodes are getting better + better, I'm really excited to keep going + I'm sure I'll be binging more very soon!

Thanks for hanging out + watching with me :)

"I call it Vera." "Well, my days of taking you seriously are certainly coming to a middle." And when Mal say's, "And it's brought me a galaxy of fun I'm here to tell ya," it almost sounds like Nathan is trying to do a subtle John Wayne. lol

Great react Jen! I am really happy you're taking this journey to become a browncoat! We're getting close to some really amazing episodes(not saying there haven't been good ones already). You nailed it with the characters of this show and the way they build the crew is one of the reasons I love it so much! Also... you reaction for the Saffron reveal was really the best! I really look forward to the rest of the season!

Jen - I think I can diagnose your youtube issue. Simply put, I think you need to talk more! I can't blame you for being engrossed in the story - but "fair use" means you need to repurpose the content and put your own stamp on it. Youtube will be checking for matching audio samples. It won't detect any of that if you're introducing more of your thoughts and commentary into the sound mix. I don't think the copyright strikes ever go away, but the reactors I know that complain the least are commenting fairly consistently throughout. Not an easy thing to do - especially because the writing in this show is so good that missing any of it is a shame!

Ya you're probably right. Though I have gotten sections claimed before that I am talking over so I just cut them altogether. Sorry for complaining. I'll try to talk more 👍

Thanks! I am getting more comfortable and feeling able to talk more freely with each video so I hope this helps. At first it felt like I was talking to myself but now it feels like I'm hanging out & talking to you guys when I shoot reactions so thank you! I am also in talks with a lovely editor who might help me be able to put out more content so maybe she'll have some ideas or methods 👍👍
