Jayne: Hey! What do you two think you’re doing, fighting at a time like this? You’re using up all the air!

Some great character moments in this one and really feeling that comaraderie between this crew now! Poor Simon, worst birthday ever lol!

I'm starting to dread that the end of this show is coming now that I'm past the halfway mark, but I will keep enjoying the ride until the last moment!

Thanks for watching with me guys, you're the best :)

** Special thank you to Producers: Baldielox, Kenneth, CBonius, MattN

Since I'm so late to the party, I can say this without spoiling: Careful what you wish for... lol It was the very next episode! As for Kaylee... Well, she's just as much a 'horndog' as that doofus Bester (who was the WORSTer lol). Why do you think she's after Simon with such a powerful will? And then there was Zoe saying, "He just bothers me..." And I was saying, "Yeah I think he 'hot-and-bothers' you." lol It was the mustache she hated. Jayne was the one who had tracked and found Serenity; and in Mal's eyes, a tracker would be useful. He also recognized the mercenary mentality in Jayne so it was easy to tempt him with money (and comforts, etc). "No sad seven..."

I had this weird mental image of Jen pressing Mal and Inara dolls' faces together while saying "now kiss!"

I like how you suggested that they've "dropped her storyline" regarding River. This show was made in the days that U.S. TV shows usually had 22+ episodes per season. They hadn't even finished writing the second half of the season when they were canceled. River's story is the big story of the show, and it is a slow burn because they expected to not only have a lot more episodes to get to it this season, but after Whedon's successes with "Buffy" and "Angel", and knowing they had a great show coming together, they expected multiple seasons. Then Fox said "fuck you".
