Question: It seems like the content has outpaced guide updates since .05c. Is the plan to catch the guide up before each new numbered release, or something else? Love what I've been seeing in the change logs though, and can't wait to go through all the new content!

One of the things that just tends to happen is that I like to mull over and think about the things that the characters say and the options that you have. Or maybe there is an option that I'm not quite happy with and have commented out until I can think about it a little more. At the same time building the flowchart while the event is still in flux would create a lot of extra work if I have to rejigger things. The end result of this is that I've gotten really good at doing the guide for each part on the saturday after release. This does unfortunately mean that the scenes that are newest in the guide are not yet included, in this case it is Haily's message and exercising with Sami. The guide isn't falling behind but it's just slightly out of phase with the release cycle, so I can do the best (and most efficient) work I can. Also I keep telling myself that I can make the scenes better or add more content right up to the release point but I'm sure that's not relevant.

Thanks, that's really insightful! I've never followed a game with a weekly release so didn't really know what to expect with this one so I hope I didn't come across as demanding, just genuinely curious what the process is like. It seems really intense and I'm always impressed with how much content you push out. Honestly I hope you don't push yourself too hard. I'm sure everyone has different expectations but I think you've really been going above and beyond what I was expecting.

Well now I feel all warm and fuzzy! I had wanted originally to do all the guide content completely simultaneously but it just turned out that wasn't the best move... so I didn't. But I take good care of myself. I've gone over my schedule before and while its certainly demanding, I make sure to keep scheduled time off as well! That way if something like... say a new video game comes out, it's not fighting dev time and I don't have to balance things, I already know where it gets to be.
