Watched the first 90 Seconds: "Who has the dream of his school being attacked..." Yeah, you are a girl.

Slothful Sins

2:20 Cid really went, "Move it!, BACKGROUND CHARACTER FOREVER!!"

Tex

"Why was he suprised he couldnt use magic." Probably thought it was just his time of the month.

Criteria for entry into Cid’s ever expanding harem is being kinda unhinged. Reckon the competition for affection would be deadly 😆

Some guy

Nu is definitely mentally unwell. Not that I can blame her; I mean she (and the other ladies of Shadow Garden) lost everything and were turned into a rotten blob of flesh. I'm not sure how that directly translates into wanting to kill her ex-fiance though. Maybe she feels betrayed that he abandoned her? Also, yeah, Cid is definitely a psycho. His moral compass is basically: "Is this cool?" and "Is this something Eminence-in-Shadow-esque?" "Consequences? Collateral damage? Not my problem!"

You know that, when you make scenarios in your head and think about them? Having someone attack for example is a guy thing.

So the anime doesn't explain it well, but in the LN the reason NU pulled out the slime dagger was that she wasn't sure if marco was still alive, and cid was in the room talking like he was shadow, so if marco heard that then she was ready to kill him to protect cid's identity.

Also in the manga she doesn't draw her sword on him until after Cid leaves, and is wondering out loud if she should kill him to protect Shadow's secret identity (to them Cid is the alter ego). The anime does some things better, but one of the things it doesn't always do as well is be as clear about what is going on at times, which causes a lot of confusion for some reactors who end up not fully understanding what is going on, making the rest of the show more confusing to them based on what they thought was going on.

Fun seeing Neila realize that Cid is a psychopath.
