Hiya! So the "6pm time slot" comment is an older saying referring to a time of day that used to have the most people watching television. It was frequently right after mealtime and people would watch news, talk shows, sitcoms, dramas, etc. The ring of succession: I haven't read the Manga or the light novels so this is just conjecture from watching the anime a 100 times. I understood it that Rose was to put the ring on Perv's hand, making him king, and thus allowing his blood to enter the royal family line. To me it makes sense since it would be easier for Perv and Mordred to work together under that condition.

Just a heads up the manga doesn't go this far into the story yet. However, the light novel does go beyond and I hope they keep following the story. Unfortunately, no known continuation for your beloved Sherry yet Neila

The Force

Just came to mind as a writer when you were asking about why Shadow would show Oriana her mothers betrayal instead of just tell her. Comes back to the phrase "seeing is believing" which means a lot more than people think. You can trust someone if they tell you something horrible but it often won't drive you to act. You need proof, evidence, you'll look for information that proves or disproves it. Yet if someone shows you something that is undeniable, you skip that step and go to action. Though that's not necessarily why Shadow thought to show her, it's often the reason why when you want a character in writing to undergo drastic shifts you force them to see something/have a character show them, even if they may be able to just say it.

The next thing we get is a movie which is a direct continuation to season 2, "The Eminence in Shadow, Lost Echoes" which has a possible late 2026 release date. Very hype. Its expected to have another season after that, but most likely we wont get an absolute confirmation til after that releases.

The thing that sucks with reading the manga is we don't get the VAs we all love. BUT I am super giddy over everything to read lol. The frustration with the ending is something we all felt.
