SleepyOldBear

I do wonder whether the whole Shalltear incident from season 1 plus viewing his subordinates like a family of sorts has made him very cautious now. That plus the idea that now death is permanent (i.e. no auto-res like game) in the world must be difficult to manage

SomeNotTakenName

The goblins were summoned off screen when Enri used one of the Horns of the Goblin General Ainz gave her after saving her. She gained a few command-related classes (Sergeant, Commander) after ordering the goblin troop around and basically running the village for some time. If her subordinates follow her orders, they can receive some buffs.

hmm in the current slime season she complained about the englishin the intro, here it´s fine XD

T3RS1

Thank you Neila! As always good work! Get well soon!

The Force

I love Ainz only just now realizing his light hearted, unserious comment of "Maybe it'd be fun to conquer the world" at the VERY BEGINNING of the story in LN && Anime was taken as a goal and everyone's been working towards that while he's just like... Thinking about getting his name out to find his friends, hilarious bit everytime

The Force

TBF Slimes current song starts with it and carries on with it in the forefront of the song which is veeeery unusual for OPs/EDs, whereas this OP has it mixed in at level or background to the heavy music and it's more in line with standard usages of english in OPs/EDs where it's only a few words or a single line here and there. One stands out a lot and takes a risk that throws some off, the other is more standard and so slips past people.

You need to remember Ainz does not know who mind-controlled (and indirectly killed) Shaltear. It is easy for us to say Nazarick is fine since we see more than Ainz. But with world-level items being present, Ainz has a good reason to believe there is at least one very powerful player in this world, probably multiple. Also, Yggdrasil was a game where ambushes and deceptions were common. You have seen how important controlling information was in the fight with Shaltear, so there is also a good reason to believe the strong players or other beings are hiding. Also note that Overlord does not show us viewers everything. We at this point don't necessarily know who the strongest beings in this world are or how strong they are. Remember that almost the whole anime so far took place in 1 kingdom on 1 continent of the whole wide world.

Philotes

Yeah, honestly, most anime MCs act like reckless maniacs, borderline suicidal. With his life on the line, the caution Ainz shows makes a lot more sense IMO. He is already taking some big risks when acting as Momon.

This episode always makes me laugh. Ah Ainz... the few times ya choose to speak your mind instead of keeping it within your head😂😂😂 At least our Overlord is growing rapidly leveling up his Overlord skills.

Remember, Ainz was playing adventurer when all the background takeover stuff was happening. Ainz isn't the type of character to have plans that are revealed to the audience later on. He has no idea what he's doing, he just makes it up as he goes. That's not to say he's dumb. He can think tactically and plan ahead. But he's kinda being dragged along the dark overlord path by characters like Demiurge, who's an actual evil genius.

Neila Reacts~

yep yep, literally most of the stuff we have been seeing is basically demiurge doing ngl

Neila Reacts~

ah next time dont tell me the name of the song since it s spoilers too

Neila Reacts~

i mean most of the slime song is in english and this one is only like 2-3 sentences
