Just wait to the finale) You will cry. And the 4th season finale will break anyone who have a heart as much.

Silver

It's pronounced nu-mo-nia

24:00 I think satellites are mostly autonomous, but still would require maintenance and adjustments to be completely functional. I'm not any type of scientist, but I think they'd need micro adjustments because of the little displacement of Earth's orbit, and they would inevitably fall down eventually without so.

Btw I'm not quite into space, but as far as I know there should me more people in space, like in the International Space Station ("Estación Espacial Internacional" idk if it's exactly the same in English, I just translated it), but I think the anime let them apart for the storyline's sake lmao

So yeah, all the current villagers are descendants of those six. They’d have to be very careful, when starting with 3 couples and each had a couple kids. And ideally should be 3-4 generations apart to prevent inbreeding. It’s possible I guess, but they were also really lucky too.

Technically you could calculate a perfectly stable orbit for a satellite, but most (well, all the ones I'm aware of) are designed to slowly fall towards the Earth over the course of the satellite's lifespan, including the ISS. This is done to prevent the area of space around Earth from getting filled up with high-speed junk (look up the Kessler Effect/Syndrome if you want to know why that is a VERY bad thing to let go unchecked). (As an incredibly minor nitpick, the ISS would deorbit in approximately a year if its orbit wasn't maintained, so it should have crashed down before the point shown in the anime)

Ketanak

Space station and satellite can't stay in perfect orbit without human fixing trajectory, what they call space wind is micro asteroid bonking and pushing slowly but surely object out of orbit. So the satellite without its crew ended up falling in to Earth gravity.

Very confinient that it have been 3 men and 3 woman XD. Also remeber there are about 3000 years so they are all related at the end. If we are generous for math reasons and say the next genereation is born each 20 years that would make roughly 150 generations since the landing. And im sure they did hide senkus dads face that long because his face looks exactly like chrome in old

Kret

The normal crew for the international space station is 6 to 7 people although it bumps up when crews swap round for a bit just to update them

The Force

Rowring, I mean rowring, I mean rowring, I mean boating xD Also, classic Neila: "I want X!" Anime: "Here's X!" Neila: "No wait! I dunno if I want it anymore! Take it back!"

Crawlingchaos03

Damn, this hurts my feelings... damn onion cutting ninjas. They always come out of nowhere 😭😭😭

Garland_of_Darkness

Satellites have thrusters and other equipment that needs to stay functioning in order to maintain orbit or risk falling back early.
