There *is* action but yeah most of the rest of this season is low stakes *prepwork* laying the groundwork for what's about to come, no spoilers Also Don is a male/masc title but the female/fem title *is* Donna in the original Italian. So you could be Donna Neila :P For commoner access to theatres and stuff it varies but yes generally commoners were charged a small admittance fee at most while special seating was expensive and allowed nobility and the wealthy to separate themselves, feeling special, and connecting with peers. It's not common nowadays because, despite it not feeling like it to us, the average EU/NA citizen has disposable wealth on par with minor nobility at the time so "the masses" are now able to afford luxuries and stopped supporting free access stuff which lead to places upscaling quality to charge proper admission to everyone. Also worth noting commoner "seating" was usually on the ground pressed dirt or stone and rarely had actual seating except in large cities where there was higher admission fees cause the common person there was usually craftsmen and skilled laborers so had a bit more money and thus higher quality, more expensive venues were made.

20:35 Pretty much spot on, Cinch, comes from the word for a strap to secure a pack to a horse. Since a properly tightened cinch would never slip, the word eventually evolved to just refer to anything that was guaranteed to work.

I think she was actually referring to when Mjollmile called Rimuru "Rimuru-danna" which is the form of address for a patron or backer. Since it is also the word for husband, I don't think it is ever used for women. Probably the closest that could be used for a woman would be "Neila no aneki" or "Neila no neesan". It keeps the rough and subservient feeling that Mjollmile's form of address towards Rimuru, even if it isn't an exact parallel.

As for "cinch," I have to compliment Neila for knowing a comparatively obscure English word (at least for ESL speakers). It does indeed mean "to tighten." It also referred to the fastener for saddles. Because of this, cinch began to be used for anything that was "firm" or "secure" (like a tightly secured saddle). This then became "easy." so when anyone calls something "a cinch" they mean that it is simple to do.

Arenas in the past was a public installation, the ruler that painstalkly paid for the building wouldn't want it to be empty because of people not having money. It also serve as the only distraction for the people and labor slaves that redirect their anger and frustration into the fights. It was an important part of kingdom's stability for the roman because the free peasant were happier, and slaves could dream of beeing free like the slave fighters that were liberated if they won enough.

That painting was an artist's rendition of the time that Rimuru saved Mjöllmile from the dragon back in season 2. If I had to guess, he specifically requested Rimuru to be depicted in white armor, and angelic wings instead of his usual black clothes, and bat wings. I like that painting a LOT, and have considered looking around to see if there is an official print, or an artist that does art from the show, and commissioning one for my room.

Actually more because, IIRC, S3 ends somewhere around EP. 70, and I think that S4 is supposed to have like 60 episodes
