I love this show... the only show where the annoying attributes are actually the strength of the show... the show knows exactly what it is. and leans into it and I love it. I love playing Wizards in games. and my friends always hear me whenever there is a cool explosion magic in a game... I just always yell EXPLOSIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIOOOOOOOOON in the name of Megumin haha. she is my favorite.

Pewpew

This is a top 3 favorite series for me <3

Freitag

GargantuanWitch

this anime never falls off from it pace. such an incredible anime

Kret

Oi Darkness......no wait ......put the ban hammer down... that's not what a masochist does

Crawlingchaos03

Oh boy, so many strong girl failures here... Poor Kazu.

21:37 That slow turn towards the camera made me laugh way more than it should have. And that's the beauty of Konosuba. While some things can be 100% predictable because of the characters' personalities, the show doesn't let it get old and throws you stuff you can't see coming every now and then.

D.Dark

so... sorry for the rando question but is dress up darling coming??

Neila Reacts~

r u serious? i only announced it a few days ago and u r already rushing me?

D.Dark

16:10 Aqua is immune to Kazumas STEAL!!! because she doesn't wear panties... Just a fun fact. Anywys, I love this show and the perfect 4ponit triangle of uselessnes - makeing a square was to hard for this party.

IntrepidInfinity

2026-09-19 02:00 (Talking about Megumin) "Don't tell me she's like 1000 years old." No, she's 14 in the anime here, which is really annoying. See, the early parts of Konosuba were written by the author as part of a web novel series. In that series, Kazuma started the series at 20 years old. Darkness was 22 or so, and Megumin was 17. The series then got picked up by a light novel producer. When they picked it up, to widen the "appeal" of the series, they deaged all of the main characters by three years or so, and the anime followed suit. So, in the LN and the anime, Kazuma is 17, Darkness is 19, and Megumin is 14. The problem is, they didn't rewrite any of the first part of the series when doing so, which (IMO) makes a lot of the early jokes fall more flat, especially around Megumin. The main thing being Megumin being upset at being called a "little girl", BECAUSE SHE'S ACTUALLY AN ADULT. There's a reason for her looking like she does, but it still upsets her, and it makes sense that it upsets her. With her actually being a child, it makes a lot of those jokes seem creepier than they're supposed to be. The whole joke with her is SUPPOSED to be that she's an adult that looks like a child. She's not supposed to actually _be_ a child. There's other details and jokes that make less sense because of the change. Especially since Kazuma is supposed to have been out of school for YEARS by this point, and still has no job. Doesn't make a lot of sense when he's 17 instead of 20. In my opinion, it's best to consider that the age change never happened, since all of the writing hasn't changed to follow suit. Megumin is 17, Kazuma is 20, Darkness is 22.
