What's crazy too is the camera itself is usually the cheaper parts. High quality lens are INSANELY expensive, like over a few thousand dollars easily. People that are getting into photography are usually advised to splurge on the lens and go with an average camera because the lens is what dictates a lot of the qualities of the picture. On the upside, most modern phone cameras can equal to a lower to mid tier camera, so for hobbyist, a smartphone should do the job.

"Yard" doesn't technically have a size restriction. It refers to any outdoor space attached to the house. Although, since "yard" implies an open space, I probably would have translated "niwa" as "garden" in this case since the pictures showed flowers and hedges.

It’s so great that you can relate to Juju so much Neila. As it always is so lovely whenever you can connect and relate to a (anime) character😄

Fr a good lens costs so much money but the lens really dictates what photos you can take. Phone cameras have a fixed lens so you’re stuck with what you’ve got

This episode is starting Neila down the rabbit hole of photography hahaha. BTW a reflector is just a physical object that reflects light. Photography is all about light so we use reflectors and diffusers and all sorts of tools to get just the right light that we want so the photos pop.

I still remember a side character from a different romcom that did come out in 2022. Called Shikimori is not just a cutie, they had a side character which I could relate to so much that it almost become scary how much I could do that lol

From what I have seen, most hobbyist in the mid to lower high end go for a DSLR camera with built in or included lenses like the Cannon EOS Rebel T7 or their EOS 5D and a multipurpose lens. Even then though, the Rebel (with a 18-55mm lens) is still like $700USD, and the EOS 5D with a lens is like $3000 brand new. Mirrorless cameras are a whole other beast, and mostly for hardcore hobbyist or professionals with the lowest price point I have seen (for Cannon at least) being $1000+ without a lens.
