"Gals Can't Be Kind to Otaku!?" is a very sweet anime. Pretty new and only got 1 season so far but I think you would like it!

NotFunny

I'm crossing my fingers that you'll watch Black Clover one day as it is my #1 favorite anime!

TokuSHi

only one? damn, hard choice... I left a list on the discord server's recommendations, but if I had to choose just one, then probably "danshi koukousei no nichijou" (daily lives of high school boys). a simple anime, switch your mind off and enjoy type of thing. a bit of a calmer, simpler thing to contrast the things you've already been watching.

GargantuanWitch

Nobody will react to it because its not a reactable anime, I'd love to see another "Mushishi" enjoyer. But its waaaayyy off to the genre of animes you've reacted or probably will react. As a selfish wish I'd want "Mushishi" stay underrated forever, hiding from mainstream.

Joseph Adams

Did you watch Nocturne too? I need more lol

If you are getting into any kinda romance anime, which are great when they are great. Start with Toradora, hit Horimiya, bothe peak but different in ways I aint about to type out. We can go from there. BUIUUUT TWO WILD CARDS! PEAK EACH! Lycoris Recoil, orphan girls raised to be highschool girls in Japan and john wick style kill threats behind public perception. Or, Vivy Flourite Eyes song. I cant tell you but it is one of those PERFECT one run series. It kills, it leaves no regrets, and it ends; and every single aspect was made so well and passionately

Campfire cooking in another world. A very cozy anime i will always recommend !

Mushoku Tensei. New season 3 just dropped. Incredible.

Ahmed El Fakih

I already commented once, but then I remembered an anime you would, absolutely and without a single doubt, love! I don't know if you've already seen it, but it has some pretty sick fights and it's hilarious. You never know where this anime is going. The name is a little bit long, so bare with me: itai no wa iya nano de bougyoryoku ni kyokufuri shitai to omoimasu Or in English: BOFURI: I Donā€™t Want to Get Hurt, so Iā€™ll Max Out My Defense

Ahmed El Fakih

I liked the manga the better. The anime is good but isn't finished, and the OVAs are bad organized according to the original manga.

Slothful Sins

I don't know if it can pass as an anime, but Wakfu would be nice !

Some guy

Hmm. Yeah, even if most seasons are self-contained, starting in the "middle" might hurt YouTube viewership. (You would probably love Josuke though)

Some guy

I love this anime so much, but the animators did the second half so dirty.

Irimu

It's never winning but I have to try: Ascendance of a Bookworm.

Some guy

Honestly, I'd start with Fate/Stay Night before UBW. Don't get me wrong, UBW is definitely the superior adaptation, but it just hits different if you've seen the original first.

Some guy

I'll throw my voice behind the people shouting for 100 Girlfriends Who Really Really Really Really Really Love You. As ridiculous as the name and premise are, the humor is on point!, and I think you would really like the characters.

I donā€™t see a lot of reactions to this show, and thatā€™s a tragedy. It is such a good show, one of my favorite animeā€™s and it flew under the radar of so many people. Itā€™s called Carole and Tuesday. And either dub or dub is good, both ways are amazing. I will say this though. It is a music based show, and all the songs are in English. Regardless of if you watch it in dub or sub, and there may be a disconnect if you watch it in Japanese and suddenly the characters sing in English lol.

How about Ranking of Kings? But maybe you've already seen it. If not I bet you would enjoy it.

Some guy

I mean, you can definitely have interesting moral discussions, but I don't know that they are good ones. My problem is that Rudeus definitely grows as a character, but he doesn't grow in the single most important way he needs to: he is still a pedophile at the end of the story. I mean, at least the anime toned it down so he wasn't literally jerking it to a video of his young niece bathing while everyone was at his parents' funeral, but still... So, not saying that she shouldn't watch it, but if that makes her uncomfortable, might be a good one to pass on. (Production quality is top notch and overall plot is good though, even I must admit.)

Didrik Svahn

Well season 2 is airing now soā€¦šŸ˜‰

TheLegend 27

Dark gathering please. Its horror anime but its a good hidden gem :D

DanielTheHamster

+1 "Cautious Hero: The Hero is Overpowered but Overly Cautious" - a gƶttlicher comedy gem! I really think you'll love Ristarte.

Not sure if it's been commented yet but I'd def have to submit my recommendation for FOOD WARS. The series is finished and sitting at 5 seasons so plenty of content.

Yea top anime overall and this season as well. They are cooking.

Elliot Sternberg

Ishuzoku Reviewers (It would need to be a Patreon exclusive, but will get you HELLA $$$.) It's honestly really funny and good in addition to being horny as hell.

Ali

yeah I hope she doesn't consider this even if that plot point is removed in the anime as someone with a young niece I recoil at even the thought of what he was doing so I hope she doesn't watch this, and yeah you can argue that the whole story is of him growing and redeeming himself... pedos don't deserve that

Zero

Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann It's 27 episodes and up there with some of the absolute best of all time.

Chamoun101

I'll take back my first comment after rethinking it more carefully, and choose: Zero no Tsukaima! (The Familiar of Zero!)

The Force

All the stuff I'd wanna see you watch are pretty niche but if I had to pick one I'd say: Isekai Ojisan Pretty funny, short little anime about an uncle who comes back from a fantasy world and shares his experiences there with his nephew xD

OddTaxi - More people need to see this dangit! One of the only shows I can think of in any movie or show where it's only possible because of how it's presented.

Summerguy

I would like to see you react to Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex. :D

agaki

Probably not gonna get picked but sad to see no one suggesting Key Studio stuff. Angel Beats is one season but its great laugh

Neila Reacts~

I saw season 1 years ago before I even started streaming during high school but it s been a long time so I barely remember much. Great news, someone requested season 1 entirely for me to watch as a refresher so I will be reacting it at some point before diving into s2

If it's the Crunchyroll/Netflix availability specifically then a classic "Soul Eater" (sorry if this breaks the rule, I was unsure @@)

Jacob Biehl

Yo stupid question, how did you get the different paragraphs in your comment? Hitting enter auto-sends for me, tab didn't work and Idk how to turn it off. I hate the run-on sentence look in my comment T_T. also good show lol

That would have to be a Patreon exclusive, the copyright for that series is insane, many channels had to do it that way because of the strikes on their channels

Neila Reacts~

R u just going to ignore what the previous guy said about a character doing such a thing to a video of his young niece? Idk who rudeus is but I m assuming that s who u guys r talking about. If this is something that occurs in the anime, then why thehell would someone suggest this to me? If it s a side character that DIES in the anime, I donā€™t mind watching but if it s one of the main characters, why would u want me to experience such an anime?

T3RS1

Ali : One word: NO. Anime is good. I see no problem with it. Just try to stop restricting people watching something you would not watch and let them judge themself. It's not like Neila stream anime so she could decide for herself if she want publish it or not. Just because something happened in Manga does not mean Amime is bad. I do not even know if there was something bad in whole anime. I never seen more realistic anime. It's one of best anime in whole world. Neila: nothing like that is even in anime I don't even know what he was talking about to be honest and if that comment was ment for me I did not ignore what "Some guy" said I just did not read it at all but as a person who watch only anime and do not know manga, I seen whole anime so far and there is no problem with it in my opinion. I deleted my previous comment for fear of spoiling story so I wrote this one anew. If you plan react to it as I see no reason not to ... you will see for yourself. It's controversial anime for some because of some scenes of "Indecency" or "Morality". Nothing what is illegal just normal day to day life stuff some people can't stomach if its not kept as private matter ... RANT: but thank you all for spoiling Neila her opinion of character before she even seen the anime. Really nice of you all! Maeby consider at least once that what happens in manga is not important for anime when most people do not even read manga in the first place and watch only anime. Meby without spoilers from manga for once it would be fine to give it a fair try here and not cloud someone opinion even before they see an anime just because you do not like it because of manga ffs. Sorry for my english I had to correct my comments so I edit them a lot while I read them after myself. Not my first language. My second out of 3

Neila Reacts~

I m ngl the negative talks of this anime is making me SIDE EYE it a lot now. If someone requests it then sure I will watch it to see if I like it but after going through the comments I m NOT going to touch it voluntarily.

David

Durarara!!

T3RS1

That was whole point I believe. As it is one of best anime animation in whole world currently on par with Frieren, Solo Leveling and more you can bet it will be requested at some point for sure in the future. If I did not liked Tsukimichi so much I would recommend/pay for it for sure. This current season is one of the best animations and story I ever watched and I watched Frieren. It's just different kind of anime. I never seem better writen female characters like in Frieren and Mushoku. It's realistic and does not mince reality. As I miss in a lot of anime. There are even horror anime where more F-ed up things happened then here so I have no idea why Mushoku is getting so much hate to be honest. I'm going to watch 3rd episode of season 3 to fix my mood at 3:54 in morning. Have fun. Don't try to think too hard over it.

T3RS1

Also top choice! Neila would love that.

Mantra

You and I Are Polar Opposites! A peak feel good romance that should be completed by the time you watch it (the second and final season is airing now). The main couple are very similar to Gojo and Marin (but progress much faster!) with two more side couples that I'm somehow even more invested in

Saiki Kusuo no Psi-nan

Ali

Neila it is the MC who is a pedo not a side character, and idk why this other guy is saying just because it doesn't show in the anime doesn't mean it doesn't happen in other forms of the story they just toned it down for audiences. Look at the end of the day you posted this for suggestions, and I am suggesting you don't watch a show about a pedo finding redemption (he doesn't deserve it the sick creep) since good animation doesn't excuse it neither does the fact its popular so do what you want at the end of the day its up to you and like a normal human being I will not watch and ignore I am not bothered in continuing this topic of conversation, so Neila hope you have a great day and hope this topic hasn't ruined your day as it has mine

Dr4N0xx_44

Trigun the one from 1998 itā€™s a great anime but it has tiny bit of inconsistency.

Theocrates

100 Girlfriends who really really really really love you is my fav rom com these days

T3RS1

100% another jewel brutal, but good.

T3RS1

Underrated anime. One of my favorites.

T3RS1

A good anime but it need determination to watch ... a very long anime but because of season 4 worth watching it.

T3RS1

Another underated anime. Kind of cool concept.

T3RS1

TOP anime I second that for sure!

T3RS1

Problem is with heavy copyright for youtube with this one but I wish people reacted to it. Maeby like patreon only show.

T3RS1

Nice nickname immersion there :D

T3RS1

TOP anime of last season. They are cooking up. Totally underated anime I seen only one person react to it.

T3RS1

ToP choice! When you look at it from outside its really silly looking anime but from inside its DAAAARK. Underated as F. Reminds me of MAGI a little.

T3RS1

100% Top anime considered it became famous because it was eroge game in the first place. Another example as with Mushoku anime does not need to be the same as art it was based on. One of originals but grew into top story if I ever seen one. Worth just for openings alone: Aimer - Brave Shine top song.

Kret

Darker than black

T3RS1

TOP unfinished anime. Kind of waste in my opinion but worth to watch 100%. Original anime if I seen one. Problem is they picked wrong main character as prequel anime shows. Underated anime.

T3RS1

Im surprised so few people reccomended it. Its like one of the best anime past 5 years. Emotional anime. Not sure how would Neila react to it but worth the reaction for sure.

T3RS1

I second that.

Simothy

Cyberpunk Edgerunners!

T3RS1

Worth reacting to openings they are one of the most viral content on youtube past 2 years ... many content creators got huge boost just because of reaction to those. Anime itself is good. Not best not worst ... I believe it's the same studio what did Naruto tried to create something what could they do long term but were met with mediocre audience. Currently they are remaking it for next seasons. Not many people watch it and I'm honestly split myself on this one. It's not bad anime but its like its story is streatched over so many episodes. It's not about being long as about having good story artificially long so every episode have few shards of it. Something similar they did with Danmachi. Both anime are worth to watch but I would rather stream it in bulk. Maeby that is why openings reactions are more popular then anime itself because they rock!

T3RS1

Yea clearly Neila does not have people who watched it here or else this would be TOP rated comment. How can frieren get 2 likes? Blasphemy! It's like one of the most popular anime currently or ever. People compare it to Lord of The Ring of Anime how good it is.

T3RS1

Problem with this one is that its not streamed anywhere. She would have to download it and react to it from her videoplayer. Don't ask me why its shame because its underated anime as F but for some reason this anime alone is not accessible on any streaming service and is considered endangared for preservation for the future. Anime like those survive over time only because of piracy. Shame really.

T3RS1

I just hear that opening.

T3RS1

That one would be time investment of a century. Worth it but like Naruto or One piece ... one of big 3. In endless fan war in my opinion Naruto>Bleach>One piece ... fight me >D

Paul

Neila, The main character has issues. The author wrote him in a way to make you feel uncomfortable about his past and itā€™s still uncomfortable while he learns lessons throughout the story. The particular thing the Ali person is mentioning was something the author wrote in the redundancy web novel, where he is flushing out character stories that werenā€™t originally part of the main story. He considered making the MCā€™s past worse than he had previously been shown to be. The author ended up deleting the chapter. Itā€™s not the way he decided to go with his character. The MC was still awfully troubled, but he does improve his character over time. Many reactors have seen this show. All of them have some problems with the MC. I donā€™t really know a single one that didnā€™t end up liking the story though. Quite a few of them put the series in their top 5 or top 10. You might catch up to the current season and still not like the MC. But the author wrote a good story and does great character writing. There are plenty of other characters youā€™ll definitely love. The studio, Studio Bind, was created specifically to fully adapt this series and the Author works directly with the studio on each episode. He approves and/or proposes any changes made from the Light Novel to the Anime adaptation.

Some guy

Hmm. Not sure that those two are exactly parallel. If I recall correctly, the 18+ content was only added to Fate because that was just about the only way to get eyes on a visual novel back in 2004. Unless that was some other game? (It was over 2 decades ago, so my memory is a bit fuzzy there). From what I recall it is supposed to be pretty vanilla stuff too, but I never played the adult version, so I couldn't tell you with any certainty.

T3RS1

Yea it was vanilla but still controversial for a time to make anime out of eroge/light novel game especially in Japan where at a time those things were under the counter material people tried to hide. There is always some anime what is controversial at first but over time it grows into pop culture. Fate is one of those for sure.

T3RS1

Reasonable comment. You are more diplomatic over it then I could ever be. 100% agree. I fight like Eris over what I love >D

95ArOm

I love this anime for reasons I can't quite explain yet, as that would contain spoilers. All I can say is give it a chance and don't get too hung up on certain things Rudeus does. The anime has so much to offer, especially in terms of psychological aspect. All I can say is, People Change and No one was Born evil there are always circumstances that led to them becoming the kind of person they are. Unfortunately, the anime doesn't explain some things well enough, so you have to do a lot of thinking yourself. Personally I like that. MT one of the best characters Iā€™ve ever read. No one is perfect, everyone has their own burdens to bear. Something you hardly ever see elsewhere. I donā€™t really like Rudy, but heā€™s one of the most interesting main characters out thereā€”just like all the other characters. Itā€™s a top-3 anime and the best light novel Iā€™ve ever read.

I'm not sure if you've heard but Lord of Mysteries came out with three new episodes not too long ago. I recommend watching those. Do you remember in episode 10 where they introduced a new character to Klien's Divine realm. If you recall from episode 10, they introduced "The Sun" as a new member of the tarot club. Without spoiling it, these episodes somewhat take place right after episode 10 of the Lord of Mysteries. I highly recommend checking them out. If you need a recap of what I'm taking about before going to watch them then you should probably go back and watch episode 10. The title is Lord of Mysteries Specials. 3 Episodes: 1. 25 minutes 2. 27 minutes 3. 18 minutes

I'm personally saying wait on Skeleton Knight from Another World as the 2nd season is just starting. I do 100% recommend it though.

Gamers. A one off 12 episodes peak romcom, emphasis on the comedy part. Probably not many would vote it since many may not know it. However it was among the famous ones during those seasons. So aside from neila, I hope you guys would see it for yourself.

No Game No Life: Zero the movie. You don't need to watch the tv show to watch the movie as it is a prequel with an entirely separate cast. The movie is much better than the tv show.
