Argon

I love that scene with the table.

T3RS1

Also great that shopping scene ... but sure 4th season got slow start but It's insane later.

Doomchild

the confusion about Dwargon and the Dragon's nest is because Dwargon is located under the mountains where the dragons are located and has entrances on different sides of the mountains, so the discussion was about the eastern empire invading the west by going over the mountains but Raphael suggested they might go through Dwargon instead

T3RS1

Best pause Neila. Table flew :)

Orireth

Johann always looks so scared, because Mariabell is not controlling him with her power, on purpose, and he is doing anything possible to not get controlled

Ketanak

in the episode Maribel reveal she controls Yuuki, she said that the only way for her to control him is to let him think he is resisting and in total control or it might break. So Yuuki is Yuuki while under influence.

Ketanak

Rimuru: "let's not bring people that cause diplomatic problem, shion you're out" Raphael: *bring Rimuru*

The Force

When wondering how them "paying for defense" would be a good thing for Tempest, think about the US in today's world. We have bases *everywhere* and many countries pay for that, they rely on US forces to protect them so their own forces are much more limited. They don't fight because they don't have the forces, and because the US won't help invade, but it won't let the invasion happen so you'd be fighting US forces with *just* your forces. Not to mention the bases within your territory. That's what it would be like for Tempest being everywhere. Military bases in all council states, if a council state attacks another they're now fighting tempest *and* that state they attacked. With Tempest already having fortified, defensible positions within their territory it basically becomes a non-decision and Tempest rakes in the money. On top of that they now have to consider that if Tempest *does* decide to attack anyone, they've already got a military presence there so there's a lot of pressure and influence. The council states would have to essentially all unify to fight Tempest anyway, which would be hard to do, and then each state would have to individually eject Tempest's armies. It's a right mess. In our world it's easier because the US is isolated by the oceans, so sudden attacks on those bases are harder to support and reinforce. In Slime's world not only is Tempest literally a bordering nation state, but they also have teleportation magic and other magic, a demon lord, and a walking nuclear bomb that can go off as many times as it wants (Veldora) plus external allies that aren't on great terms with the western states already cause of their monster hate (Milim's domain, Dwargon, The Elven kingdom) and are a part of the Demon Lord council. So trying to do that once it's set up is tantamount to declaring war on the entire non-human allied states AND having to fight an overwhelmingly powerful, technologically superior, already established in defensible locations, monster military. In other words, it's the best possible spot for Tempest xD

Virtuous_Wanderer

Yeah. The defense pack isn't all that bad of a deal in itself. It would all but guarantee peace for any nation that has a Tempest base in it because, nobody wants to piss off a Demon Lord (See The History of the Final Days of Falmouth for an explination).
