🦍 edit: also Mei Mei is weird fr fr

Garland_of_Darkness

I remember, I think it was Gojo that said it: all special grade jujitsu sorcerers are scum.. and I think he ment ones like Mei Mei...

Mahito tried to take “Geto” out because he knew Geto was about to absorb him. That’s why he said “I was born from humans so I know”. Geto eventually decided to let Mahito learn how to perfectly use his powers so he could take them

Mei Mei is grade 1 ?

Garland_of_Darkness

I thought she was higher but maybe gojo said it about all or most sorcerers. Its been a while.

Salmonero

Yeah that was the point of the scene, according to what I have read.. Jujutsu sorcerers are all shit.. A good one like Nanami died in Shibuya, while a horrible selfish weirdo like Mei Mei, gets to not only live.. but she’s chilling in Malaysia, where Nanami wanted to retire in peace 🤷‍♂️

Dethrox

Exactlyyy Neila :DD why is everybody just watching.. ?? xD

No Mei Mei is around mid to high Grade 1. She’s slightly stronger than Nanami

That person with ice power is either a dude or a girl, according to rule 34 he's a guy but maybe that's just how the artists wanted (none of y'all can judge me ok?) I can't even tell if the voice actor is a guy or not, so it seems they're doing their best to keep the character androgynous, I'll keep thinking it's a guy though because this show doesn't really have any femboy.

Shibuya Arc is the Smash Bros. Ultimate of Anime like Everyone is here lmao 😂

Mei Mei is supposed to be a bad person. Not a horrific person like Sukuna, but just a regular horrible person. She has no value for life beyond money, and she is a straight up pedo, yet she gets away with everything and is favored by the higher-ups because she doesn't upset the status quo. Despite this, the higher-ups hate Gojo, even though he's a great person, because he threatens them. From a writing standpoint, I get the idea, but the way Mei Mei is with her brother kind of feels like it came out of nowhere, like there could've been further set up for her being a bad person if that was her role in the story, since her obsession with money was treated more as a joke than anything up until that point
