A common theory is that the redhead copy Clark scalps IS a copy of Barbara. People point out that Clark seems to have a level of disdain towards it. And the only time it reacts is when it freaks out and tries to escape when Captain Clark shows up. People have also taken this to mean that Clark is likely not being truthful at how abusive he might have been towards Barbara. He openly admits he 'hurts people', but never elaborates on what that means besides the fact that he getting into arguments with Barbara.

I rate it around a 7.5/10. Its got a ton of good stuff, but could have been better in a few ways. I defintiely would watch another and hope for more!

The rooms are back

about the "why do people in horror movies do X"? You can't expect characters in media to know what genre they're in. It's Dramatic Irony, or something very close to it.

How does the watchalong work? Are we in discord?

Leon

Oof. That callout by Neila to Kane is ironic considering the fact that the New York post just completely doxxed him and his parents. 😭😭

Leon

Yes they are.

I really love the idea behind what the Backrooms is. It’s some dimension that’s trying to mimic our world but it just doesn’t understand it. And the extra switches in the fuse box almost implies that our world is more connected to the Backrooms than we think.
