i m so excited to finally watch tom holland's spiderman since i m only familiar with tobey's and andrew's. this was a great intro to it!

Yeah just gonna say before the rest of the comments come after you the MCU is one big continuation since the first Iron Man if you only watch the spidermans your gonna be confused a lot. and the MCU is actually really good would love to see reactions I think a lot of people don't even ask for them because they assume people have already seen them.

You make a good point, the part when Toomes threatens Peter with a gun after Liz leaves the car. Peter is so, SO much stronger than him. I know he’s in a daze seeing who Liz’s dad is, he’s worried other people find out he’s Spider-man. There’s this animated YouTube series called “how it should have ended” they recreated this scene where Peter grabs his hand and the gun and just holds it there. Toomes can’t move and Peter just calls out for “help” something like “this guy is threatening me with a gun, call the cops” Roll credits.

Neila, I know you are excited for the Tom Holland movies, but I BEG of you please go thru the MCU journey first. If there’s any you’ve already seen, I’m not gonna ask for a rewatch, but anything you haven’t already seen, please. So much context and so many great movies and shows in the MCU (some not so good but still). Still love the reaction tho!!

The Force

Yeah Toome's team were *salvagers*. Salvagers who got a contract to salvage *alien gear*. Even in the real world salvage crews are actually all pretty smart, usually engineers. They have to understand the stuff they're salvaging in and out to get good value out of it. So think about how smart the team of people put together to salvage alien tech has to be. As others have said, probably should follow the MCU road otherwise you'll miss a lot and even potentially be spoiled if you decide to go back to it. For instance "If you're nothing without this suit, you shouldn't have it" is actually a lesson Tony learns from his original trilogy. He really meant it when he said he wanted Peter to be better, he gave him the condensed lesson of years in one sentence.
