From what I remember they talk like that in calls because it reads brainwaves and it isn't perfect reading so it'll read like "he stepped up big. Big leader." It's her brain thinking he stepped up as a leader and the implant reading both

Was just wandering when the next reacts to the episodes would be released, Neila has to be a mind-reader or something lol

You might have missed it, but their calls through the brainwaves have been the same like this in previous episodes. Because their mind is not perfect in constructing a proper sentence, there are few words where they have repeated words or have an english sentence that would read without any vocabulary in the brainwaves. Which is why they are word lags and stuff through communication.

I think the weird talking during the braincalls are to make it seem more like, how peoples minds jump around when you're kinda idly thinking. I think it might be harder to keep your thoughts straight and to the point, instead of how we speak.

So I didn't think of this until watching this react, but the weird way they are talking while on call is probably because they are speaking in their mind. You can see their lips don't move and Main even called David while making out earlier. So the weird pauses and repeating is either them thinking or the mind reading being imperfect.

i think David wouldve killed the woman regardless of the psychosis as she was an employee of that place. Just like he killed the male employee without a second thought. He only felt guilty afterwards cuz he found out she was a mom after he killed her.

I can't see Doc being David Dad figure that's more of Maine thing. Weird uncle vibes for sure though
