Our Live Show sets are always wonderful. Just enough set to evoke the silliness yet to come without ruining the sight-lines for folks brave enough to sit in the front rows.

And for that we have Camp Digital’s Set Department to thank, including award-winning Art Director Duncan Ragsdale, who brings her keen eye and sense of humor to all our sets, assisted by Giancarlo Cruz and the nimble construction of crew Brian Parker, Casey Cross and Brian Somerville.

The real magic is that these fine folks have mere hours to set everything up, polish it up and have it ready for lighting and camera rehearsal. They’re a well-oiled machine, this crew, and we look good onstage thanks to their talents and hard work. They’re always done on time, and it always looks great on camera.

Here, for you dear Traxians, is a time-lapse look at the build for Giant Spider Invasion - a faithful reproduction of the sumptuous manor house of our heroes, Ev and Bearded Pervo (never did get his name). Enjoy this inside look, only available to you subscribers, you lucky ducks.

I am so looking forward to getting to see this in the comfort of my home. Someday I will be able to travel to one of the live shows. Thank you!

What a great show. I always drag the Other Half, who always pretend-complains about it -- and then laughs like a hyena during the show. : ) One day I'd like to be at a live show, too!

Hey, I'm here and I can't wait to see more of this stuff!

Spiky Mikie

The show was GREAT!! Ive supported Kickstarter and seen the live shows in nashvegas for the past two years. 85 mile drive (one way) is ALWAYS worth it. Next year, VIP BABY, Yea!

Shagz

Great show! Like others, I hope to make the trek down to see the show live.

That house on the set... I thought Garrison Keillor was gonna come walking through the door.

JAMES

Seeing the set being built for that was awesome, you don't realize the work that goes into those live set pieces. Step up from the hot glue gun and drywall screws of the past sets at MST3K :)

*angst* Someday... someday I WILL go to a RiffTrax Live show!

RiffTrax

As a Traxian, your input will help us shape the next season of RiffTrax Live. And chances are, there will be a bonus reward in it for you, too. Stay tuned!

I never realized how much work goes into one of your shows. I always thought you just showed up with mics and music stands.
