Ahoy, Traxians! Erik here. And I have to say... WOWZA! As you are no doubt aware, on Wednesday we launched our Kickstarter campaign for this year's slate of live events, and you all crushed our expectations. The campaign was fully funded after only being live for 19 hours, and we're pretty sure that's a new record for us.So now comes the fun part: stretch goals! We've collected a list of titles that have been requested through our various channels, that we also think could make for potentially good "Just the Jokes" MP3 riff stretch rewards - and we want your feedback! Take a look at the options in this poll, and cast a vote for your favorite(s). This is just another perk for being a subscriber here on Patreon. While the results are not binding, your votes will help us determine what kinds of riffs you'd like us to tackle. Of course, the final selection is solely at our discretion, but this poll will help inform our choices, and it closes at 5pm Pacific on Monday, February 24th — so you've got all weekend to think about it! Did we miss any? Feel free to comment with a movie you'd like to see get riffed. Thanks for helping us out, dearest Traxians! We'll be announcing the MP3 stretch rewards in a future update over on Kickstarter in the coming days, so stay tuned.Oh, and speaking of rewards: we're going to be adding 5 more "Kevin writes you a jingle!" reward slots, as well as more Mike Doodles, AND - how cool is this? - a couple of RiffTrax Live: Hobgoblins scripts signed by the movie's director, Rick Sloane! These rewards will surely get snapped up fast, so keep checking the campaign often for when those get added.More soon! Your pal,Erik

Rifftrax has done all the other Star Wars films. It CAN'T leave the series uncompleted. Rise of Skywalker is a MUST! :)

Troy Gies

I'd love to see Face/Off or The Rock riffed.

DalGoda

It's about time we get Gymkata after hearing about it for so many years. Plus, I already have the DVD and ripped it. Just sitting there waiting for an additional audio track!

Tracy Palma

I'd really love it if you guys would riff Death Bed: The Bed That Eats.

Amy Mormino

Those are all quality choices. I voted for Cobra, Mortal Kombat and Return to Oz but wouldn’t mind any of them. Cats would be a great choice too 😺

Jeff Gilbert

Cats should definitely be riffed.

Gabriel Ricard

Cobra is far and away my dream pick here.

Justin Wingate

Heck, I voted for them all! ( I can do that, right?) Therefore, whatever is selected, I win either way!

ian clark

Oh please riff Cobra! I have no doubt this could top Roadhouse as my all time fave

Paul Rabogliatti

Hey, I talked to Diane Franklin about a year and a half ago, and she seemed very interested in having you guys riffing one of her movies. I think "Terrorvision" was the one she mentioned. Just mentioning it here in case it's not on your radar.

Joe Lawler

Gymkatta! If possible, get Frank and Trace to join you for that. It would be amazing.

Thom

Honestly, any potential Uwe Boll riff feels like something culturally essential. I worry that Herr Boll's singular badness will be lost to the onslaught of the Disney Plus hoards

Matthew Parmeter

thanks for making this something the community get some input on!

Kristy Sharpe

Flight of the Navigator could be fun! Compliance!

Brian Smith

Jupiter Ascending has been at the top of my wish list since its release. And Cats is now right below it.

James Dodd

A Quiet Place - way overdone melodrama, idiotic monsters, and an ending that makes no sense whatsoever (armies of the world were helpless, and they get taken out but a whiney woman with a shotgun and a squirt with a noisy speaker.

Cynthia Burress

I voted for Gymkata and Mortal Kombat, but I would love to see Cats riffed. It's just so bafflingly awful.

Jeffrey Welton

How many times can I vote for Gymkata? How much money do I need to pay you to get you to riff that glorious 80s cheese factory?

Sarah Casa

I'd love riffs for Flash Gordon, Battle Beyond the Stars and Non-Stop.

Paul Lenoue

When I saw "Vote for MP3s" I thought it was for songs based on the live shows. Paint me disappointed :(

Bill Lemmond

I've noticed somewhere on the discussion boards that I'm not the only one who'd like to see a riff for Apollo 18. I'd like it because I still remember one friend put it on the 6x10 foot screen, and surround sound system at our local maker space, then found it so dull he didn't pay any attention to it. I didn't notice anything happening, for quite a while, either. It could be like Beast of Yucca Flats.

Matt P

I've always wanted "Night of the Comet" to be Riffed! I mean come on It's got a young Robert Beltran, Commander Chakotay from "ST: Voyager!" It's a movie that takes itself far to seriously for it's production value and overall quality.

Tabby L Rose

Thinking of Cats as a riff makes me think of a Richard Jeni line. "See that? So did I. Back to you." Because...it just makes its own riff gravy without any help at all. Like Showgirls. Willow would be fun, and I've been hoping you'd do Mortal Kombat someday. (The 2nd one is especially in need of riffs to make it tolerable.) The Running Man *begs* for riffing. Master of the Universe? The 2nd Howling. Clash of the Titans.

Cristi Gale

Gymkata would be great! Love an earlier suggestion for The Last Starfighter. The BeastMaster (1982), The Wraith (1986), and Dark Night of the Scarecrow (1981) would all be a blast as well.

Tim Maher

Gymkata for sure because of all the times it got mentioned on MST3K back in the day

Nicholas Haney

Return to Oz would be amazing. That movie is filled with so much nightmare fuel.

Mathew Gillette

Oh holy cow this is one of the toughest votes ever! All good choices for very different reasons!!!

Fred and Ben

Gymkata?? Never heard of it!

Sukotto

Gymkata is the no-brainer, BUT I'm totally curious, are the rights for that turd super expensive or something? Like, why has it not been done as a VOD yet, and why suggesting as a Just the Jokes here? I'll look forward to it in any case, this has been my Unicorn Riff for as long as I can remember. :D

Norman Nosurname

The Mandalorian is a good series, why offer that instead of the last 3 totally rubbish Star Wars movies? Especially the last one, I would love to hear riffing on horses in space and someone dying from Force OD.

Chris

I don't remember ever hearing of Gymkata, so I just have to go with Mortal Kombat because I actually liked it when I was a kid. I do agree the second one would be much easier to riff, but I want to see the one I loved get shredded too.

Tyler Goodison

All films in the list would be awesome! Any chance we could get a Sean Connery James Bond film? (I’m of the unpopular opinion that I don’t want a riff for It’s a Wonderful Life. That being said, I know there are a lot of people hoping to get it, so I’d still vote for it for all the loyal fans that have been yearning for it.)

John Bettridge

Please consider "Guardians" by Enjoy Movies, the Russian rip off of the Avengers. There's a bear, with a machine gun, and a steroid infused giant baby as the arch villain. It is glorious.

Drew Love

Gotta go with Gymkata, and hope for some well-placed “hikeebas!”

Al Strawther

Since you probably wont do a live show, I would love a just the jokes on Robot Jox! Somehow it must happen

Brian Finnegan

You should do a Hallmark Christmas movie. You could record one Riff and use it interchangeably for almost every one they release 😀

bd

please don't make me watch the avengers

Richard Lee

Well. While the fanboy would go for Avengers or The Mandalorian, I gotta go with....MORTAL KOMBAT!!!!!!!!!! And yes, if they joke about that yell, that would make my day.

Sarah Kimmel

I'm wondering if people realize these are "Just the Jokes" riffs, not VODs. So that means having access to a copy of Gymkata or whatever to sync to

CaptainSpam

I'm honestly surprised they haven't done Gymkata already, given how often it was referenced on MST3K.

Wes Urschel

Gymkata please! I've been hoping for that one for years.

Scott Garland

Can we get more movies in theatres?? 2 is not enough......

Michael Lipinski

GYMKATA! I have it on DVD and I've been trying to convince my friends to watch it with me. A riff for this gem will definitely sweeten the deal!

Jacob Wright

Just ordered a copy of Gymkata... just in case this happens!
