Greetings, human Traxian people! Erik here.

I come to you with a movie riff OF THE FUTURE: the tomorrow after tomorrow. Which I guess makes it... Sunday?

Anyhoo, I just hit the "Publish" button on our latest riff, The Shape of Things to Come, loosely based on the H.G. Wells novel "Things to Come" and starring an excessive amount of Jack Palance. (See a hilarious clip of him in our previous "Riff Review" post, here.)

Please enjoy this extended preview, and get the full riff here. More shapes to come soon!

Your pal,

Erik

Garance A Drosehn

Ambitious sequel to "At your fingertips: Boxes" and "At your fingertips: Cylinders"

Daniel Frank

Anne-Marie Martin (Doreau on TV's "Sledge Hammer!") at 3:19!

Tracy Palma

I think it's fair to say this acts as a prequel to both Overdrawn at the Memory Bank and Space Mutiny.

Ken Malinski

And I noticed it's produced by... HARRY ALAN TOWWWWWERRRRRRRS!!!

Franklin Harris

You see, Barry Morse was Professor Bergman on SPACE: 1999, the most lavish and expensive TV series of its time, which was set on Moonbase Alpha, and now he's on another moon base in this crappy low-budget movie by the producer of CASTLE OF FU MANCHU. It's like they're the actually same thing, see!?!

Bill Lemmond

I'm only a little sad this isn't the black-and-white original, with Raymond Massey. Looks like this will be plenty of fun. :)

Karl Hamann

The Shape of Jack Palance's hat in that other thing he was in, & riffed on? What was that? This movie needed another supremely goofy hat to be effective!
