Talkin' RiffTrax: Aladdin

Please enable JavaScript to experience Vimeo in all of its glory. Long before there was a terrible Disney live-action version of Aladdin, there was a terrible Disney live-action version of Aladdin! This one came out two years before the classic animated version, and has been rightfully scrubbed from history.

I’d be careful, Barry has a wheelchair with rocket launchers and machine guns

Danny Cameron

That's great he enjoys this. Bostwick seems like an actor that just went for whatever...loved him in Rocky Horror Picture Show

Noah K. Sturdevant

I want to watch Spin City and forget he was in anything else, ever.

John Arlet

Barry seems like a pleasant kind of guy who probably smells like a combo of cheese puffs and waffles and you just enjoy being around. Or don't mind being tied up in the basement of your own house by.

John Chadwick

The kids today probably mostly know Richard Kiley for narrating the ride near the beginning of Jurassic Park, like Richard Attenborough, this film "spared no expense".

Langley02

whenever his character comes on the screen during live showings of Rocky Horror, you yell "asshole" at the screen till he's gone.

MK Bukowski

Thanks for the captions!

David Mello

So, do we also give anyone connected with "The Apple" an apology?

David Mello

So Barry Bostwick is the new Joe Don Baker, eh?

Robert Szorady

We should put a Patreon together to make sure Barry finally gets paid for this.

Karl Hamann

This month's issue of Goldmine mag, has an interview retrospective with the Monkees' Mickey Dolenz, Somehow, he doesn't mention his directorial debut!?

Bill Lemmond

I've seen "Rocky Horror" several times, with friends. I'm looking forward to introducing them to this. :)

Jack Beckman

The movie was soooo bad, I had to watch it in small chunks. Great choice! But don't forget about St. Elmo's Fire as a possibility for the future...

Wise Twin Sailor

I'm glad this version of Aladdin was so short. Deep hurting watching this one. It was like if Barry Bostwick took over some poor schools stage production.

Kerry S.

Does anyone else have the "It's a Lovely Day in China" song earworming them?
