Hey there, Patreon people. Mike Nelson.

Kevin interviewed me this week for the first in a new series of audio podcasts called HARROWING TALES. This one involves an incident between me, and a recumbent bicycle of mine. Take a listen to find out why this tale is so harrowing.

You just know the gal with the Walker was thinking ‘Damn whippersnapper fool, hope he doesn’t expect me to go over & get him out of that!’ But in all seriousness YIKES! Glad it wasn’t worse.

I'm assuming this is where the "Recomfy Bike" invention exchange originated?

Great! A Mike bike story that couldn't be phoned in! Next time take your phone, Mike.

John Arlet

Mike should have told the guy in the elevator "nope, just heading out, forgot my phone".

Are there any revolving around Hamdingers?

This reminds me of public radio or AM radio in days of yore. A very relaxing listen. Please share more.

Mike, Kevin, thank you, both. At 61, I can still easily ride a regular bike, and I have a stabilizing 2-wheel trailer I can attach to it. So my take-away is to stay away from recumbent bikes.

Ha! Excellent! More, please (^-^)/

Sean-Casey King

Loved this - thanks for doing something similar to "bringing back sketches".

There was this one time when I was cruising on my 10 speed and there was a curb ahead amd I hit the brakes too hard and flipped completely over 180 degrees. Or it sure felt like it. Circa 1976
