Howdy, Traxian podcast people!

Your old pal Erik here. I'm finally making good on my promise for a Talkin' RiffTrax from Bridget and Mary Jo, where we discuss their latest riff, Frankenstein's Daughter! We talked in podcast form about that, plus digressions into important topics like Ellen DeGeneres' replacement on "Ellen," Abe Vigoda jokes, and Mary Jo's impressive spelling abilities.

Enjoy!

Erik

EDIT: The riff attributed to Matt Nelson was actually from Scotty Arsenault. Nice work, Scotty!

I especially enjoy the podcasts with Mary Jo and Bridget. It's like getting together with your friends and laughing your heads off over goofy stuff.

Scotty Arsenault

I sent the Abe Vigoda joke in the contest, but my name isn’t Matt or Nelson. I’m going into the garden to eat worms now. 😢😭

Love having these in the RSS feed!

As a National Spelling Bee finalist, I appreciated the spelling-centric aspect of this pod! 😉

I would absolutely watch/listen to a RiffTrax spelling bee!

Ellen Cleghorne is just sitting by her landline phone awaiting a call to host that talk show. Also, great job Erik in hosting this, mostly by getting the hell out of the way of B&MJ and letting them talk about whatever is on their minds. Real talk show hosts should learn this from you. I bet Ellen Cleghorne already learned that years ago!

Be great if you could do a post on the 3 series of MST3K card sets that are out! Series 4, on the shorts, are being made too, I'm told.

For the love of God Erik, please get Bridget and Mary Jo to finish the HIGH SCHOOLERS!

This was a fun listen. Especially encouraging to hear Mary Jo praised for her spelling ability. I've always been an amazing speller, but my community didn't try sending anyone to the national spelling bee. Looking foward to watching Frankenstein's Daughter. I always seek out your riffs, for your too-rare female perspective. You find great joke opportunities that the guys just don't see.
