Hi again, Traxians!

A few days ago, we released a new riff on an old favorite, Merlin's Shop of Mystical Wonders. It's got everything: a framed narrative, an evil cymbal monkey, Ernest Borgnine, and of course everyone's favorite(?) wizard, Merlin.

Mike, Bill, Kevin, and Conor got together via Zoom to talk about it; they might have aged backwards during the process. Enjoy!

And you can download this video here.

Uh oh. I hope they don't find my Etsy store of off-brand soft enamel Rifftrax pins. Use the code HOTMERLIN for 20% off.

Has Mike been put into the witness protection program? I want to see that beautiful square mug of his! 😁

I'm glad you guys mentioned that there was depiction of animal abuse in this movie. As someone who is triggered by such things, would it be possible to have some sort of warning tags on subsequent releases? I realize you can't tag for everything that everyone finds problematic, but perhaps some sort of common issues tag system can be created for Rifftrax.

Maybe the Rifftones can some day give us a full rendition of the hit song from this movie, the indelible "Rock and Roll Martian."

Gabriel Ricard

Yes, Mike, your new teeth whitener is very effective

Jenny Erdahl

Is Mike not allowed to show his face because he doesn’t have a beard?

Adam Smith

The best Merlin is Brother Blue from "Knightriders."

John Jack

Good lord. Kevin's cooing Merlin bit had me weeping with laughter. And Bill's distaste made it even more effective.

William Joseph King

You laugh like I wouldn't support the Rifftrax wicker basket store.

I don't mind a re-do of an mst3k movie I loved... now this slapped-together-Saturday-afternoon-TV-garbage has twice as many jokes. I'm in.

Jeff

Wow, the pandemic has done WONDERS for Mike's looks!

I wish there was a Merlin movie in which Nick Nolte plays the starring role.
