Howdy Traxians!

In this latest podcast episode of Talkin' RiffTrax, MJ and The Bridg' are back with me to talk about their second solo Just the Jokes outing, Wonder Woman 1984. We discuss Mary Jo's main issue with these mega-blockbusters, how someone could possibly (spoiler alert) become a living Dreamstone, and why the heck doesn't Diana use one of those retractable leash thingies for her lasso to keep it from slipping from her grip???

Find out the answers to all this and more by listening via the embedded player above, or with any app that can access your Private RSS Link (found under the "My Membership" tab of our Patreon).

Enjoy!

I'm doing fine as well. Look forward to seeing Wonder Woman and hear it riffed.

I'm surprised not to hear them mention how Barbara Minerva couldn't be "sexy" until she learned how to walk in those platform and high-heeled shoes

Mary Jo needs to re-listen to the MST3K opening theme, She "should really just relax."

Tracy Palma

I listened to the riff as I watched WW84 at the drive in last week. High-larious.

I bought the dvd of Wonder Woman 1984 before I even heard the ladies were doing a commentary. Much like the Rifftrax guys, it didn't surprise me to hear Mary Jo admit to not getting this kind of movie. There are lots of flaws in this movie, not as many as in Snyder's DC movies, but lots of gaping plot holes, not least of which is the magical nonsense of a "wishing stone" but it helped explain how Steve Trevor could be back, at least for Diana. You have to accept lots of nonsense to enjoy these super-hero films, not unlike the nonsense you have to accept in most romantic films. Heck, most any kind of movie.

"Early Dinners w/ Bridget and Mary Jo" ...now that's a franchise.

I think I look forward to these interviews as much as I do their riffs. So much fun to listen to.

Robert Szorady

I would listen to a podcast with these two just talking about movies.
